Update for Tues, Aug 16, 2011:
Anu slips and falls, becomes unconscious. Santhosh and Manju come running up to her, and then to show their intelligence, keep telling her to wake up, and asking her what happened. Thank God for Nivedha, she runs, gets some water and sprinkles it on her face. She says that she slipped and hit her head and fainted, and it hurts badly, and no one has the intelligence to insist on her seeing the doctor, when she says it is nothing much and all she needs is some rest. In fact, no one even thinks of calling the ever absent father, who is probably busy cooing with the other biwi, fulfilling his thyagam requirements! I can't stand this serial!
Anu is helped into her bed, and Nivedha (with green nails!) goes to get her some coffee. Santhosh gets a call from karthi, whom he addresses as ANNa. Karthi wants him to bring some file with him when he comes in to work, Santhosh updates him about Anu's accident. Anu asks who is calling and then asks for the phone and talks to Karthi herself, saying she is okay, and then wants to know what the call was about. Karthi says it is about some job for Santhosh, and she says she will make sure that Santhosh gets there.
Adhi and Prem - Adhi is upset about something. It turns out he is working in some computer company, he had some great sales figures, boss praised him, but now the client hasn't yet paid the money for the last two months and the boss holds Adhi responsible to collect the money within a week. Prem wants to know who it is and Adhi takes him there.
MK is talking to some client who hasn't paid his previous bill. The client denies this, and says he has already paid, which MK says he hasn't. Just then Adhi and Prem come there, and they also ask for the money within a week, and the man is belligerent about it. He finally agrees to pay up after a week. MK is told to bring the unpaid bills.
Santhosh is talking to a friend and says he will be at peace only after his mother and the other biwi get together. Karthi comes there, tells santhosh that he was forced to lie when Anu asked if they were working in the same office, so in future, he should go to another room when attending Karthi's calls if Anu happens to be in the same room. Santhosh's friend thanks Karthi and tells him his father wants to meet him.
MK sees Gopi and tells him about the client not paying up his dues. Gopi wants to know who it is, and when MK tells him about the guy, Gopi says he is a big cheat and says he will collect the dues. MK tells him to go to the shop and collect the copies of the past due bills and go home, and leaves without telling Gopi where he is headed.

Wednesday 17th August 2011 Episode - 338
Priya reading a book, gets a call on her handphone, sees the number and disconnects. VVK joins her there, he browses through some magazine. Priya gets a call again and she disconnects. VVK watching this feels something not right. Priya has some guilty kind of look. She gets the call again ( I dont get this attitude of the callers - if someone is not picking up the phone maybe they are busy. Why should they keep calling continuously - typically Indian) She doesnt pick it up. Karthik asks her to attend the call. Does not matter, let it ring she answers. Who is the caller? A friend. Might be something important says he. No, this girl is a pain, Karthik does not know about her. Priya is called inside by her paatti, she goes in. Paatti is getting milk ready for VVK. Priya's phone rings again. Karthik sees the name "Don't Pick Up". He takes the call, no reply from the other end. He goes to the kitchen and asks Priya if her friend will only answer her. Priya has the famous SBT look. Paatti wants to know why Karthik is asking Priya in such an angry tone. Karthik tells about the Dont Pick Up. Priya is willing to tell the truth. The caller is a porukki from her college. For the last two days he has been calling her, dont know how or from where he got her number. That is why she put the name as Dont Pick Up, please believe me paatti she begs. Karthik tells her not to cry. He did not take the call because he was suspicious but he felt Priya was in trouble. Why did you not tell us before asks Paatti. Karthik promises to take care of the problem. Calls the number, tells the fellow they all know about him. Not to create problems, just finish his studies and go. There is a reply in the form of text message - Sorry Sir. Karthik gives the phone to Priya, takes the milk and leaves. Priya has a relieved look on her face.
Adhi on the phone with Nivedha. Cannot trust anyone these days. We get cheated if we do, Nivedha tells him to take that as a lesson and not polambufy. Was that why he never called her at all? Anu sleeping wakes up with a headache. Holds her head with both hands, Nivedha busy with Adhi on the phone. Anu turns on the light to look for medicine. She is not able to find. Staggers into the living room. Sits on the sofa. Nivedha in the balcony wishing Adhi good night sees her mother in pain. Asks her mother if she had any medicine. Medicine over, Santhosh is called for to get tablets for Anu.
Santhosh on the bike is stopped by three drunkards. Santhosh asks them not to walk in the middle of the road. One fellow takes the bike key. The other says they are going to see Santhosh one hand for having hit him the other day . They want money. Santhosh gives them whatever he has, that is not enough for them. They ask him to go to the nearest ATM and withdraw money. Santhosh starts hitting them. Two policemen arrive. Ask about the problem. The drunkard says Santhosh not giving his coolie. Santhosh tries explaining to the policemen that he is on his way back getting medicines for his mother. The policemen hire an auto to take all of them to the police station. Santhosh does not have his handphone, requests one policeman to call home for authentification. Policeman's ears are deaf.
Anu at home in pain. Manju & Nivedha wonder why Santhosh is not back yet. Manju wants to call his handphone, realise his handphone is left behind. Manju asks Nivedha to call Karthik aNNa. She does so. Updates Karthik, who promises to be there soon with medicines. On his way out paatti enquires, Karthik repeats the update. Paatti asks him to take care and is worried. Karthik reaches Anu's house. Anu is given the medicine (Anu is holding the back of her head and these maNdus are giving a headache tablet) Anu is very sorry for having troubled Karthik. She is asked to rest. Nivedha too is sorry for having disturbed him. He is happy that she considers him like Santhosh. Goes to search for Santhosh.

thursday...😠I am really hard pressed to keep up my enthusiasm to even watch this serial once a week! 😡
Starts with Patti rudely awakened in the night because of a bad dream about Anu. She goes to her altar and prays Anu should be well. Meenakshi notices this and asks her what is wrong. She says she had a bad dream.
Vetti karthik meets MK at nadi theru, looking for Santhosh high and low (as if he is lying on the road). They discuss its best to go to the area police station. At the police station, they walk into Santhosh who is getting beaten up by the police officers for talking back to them. Karthi knows the inspector and manages to save him. Outside, Santhosh explains how he got to the police station because of the thugs who bullied him.
Anu's house- family conference with Anu and the kids and Kamesh. Kamesh explains he has turned over a new leaf and works hard at the office. He says he understands now why RR "works so hard" so Anu shouldnt pester him to come home often (what rubbish logic is this?? Hubby works hard so you shouldnt ask him to come home at all? I hope women dont take this as real life advice). Anu says she is worried about Santhosh who didnt come home (as well). VVK enters with santhosh and explains what happened at the police station.
AAR house- AAR and Ganesh sitting in their second floor sitting area and discussing how to tell the truth to Anu. Ganesh says should pick the right time when Anu is in a proper mood. Palli comes in (like thirandha veetil naai maadhiri- dog entering an open house) and walks up their stairs and eavesdrops on their conversation, walks in on them and asks them what truth are they going to tell Anu. (what an ill mannered person...WHO walks into someone's second floor without knocking at the door..what if they were in their bedroom, would she have walked in on them?)
AAR tells her its nothing, she mazhupufies saying its about telling Anu to recommend Ganesh to RR for another project in Bangalore which he is building. Palli is relieved, she thought it had something to do with Anu's hubby's #2 wife. She asks AAR if its confirmed Anu's hubby has no #2 biwi- AAR says yes, its confirmed he is an uthama purushan. Palli is relieved and says Anu deserves that as she is a good lady and there is no god if Anu has an unfaithful husband.
Patti's house- Meenakshi giving water to Patti, asks her about her dream. Patti says she dreamt Anu fell down the stairs and it was too much for her to take (doesnt sound so bad to me!). They both decide to go to the temple and do archanai for Anu's name and then visit Anu. They go to the temple and tell the priest to do archanai for Anu. The priest says it must be "Anu day" because another lady just did archanai for Anu a few minutes ago. (and there is only one Anu in the world). Patti asks who is the lady...thodarum.

Paati is surprised that the priest says that someone else also did an archana for Anu earlier that day. She prays for Anu's health, and after that, when she and Meenakshi go around the temple, they come across Sivagami sitting on the floor. Meenakshi is sure that she must have been the one to pray for Anu, bui Paati says she must have prayed for Anu to move out, so that her daughter can be the rightful wife. Meenakshi goes to talk to Sivagami, finds out about Anu falling down and having a headache but comes back and tells Paati that she was doing an archana for her daughter whose star is Anusham.
Anu is sitting at the dining table. RR comes in, calls her but she doesn't respond, so he comes closer and puts a hand on her shoulder, which she brushes off and gets up. RR is startled by this, she is furious as she faces him and asks if he is the head of that house or merely a guest, who comes and goes whenever he pleases? (Well said, Anu, except you are too late at saying this; this should have been said at least twenty years back, then the man would have been forced to admit the truth) Kamesh, Santosh, Manju and Nivedha come running out of their rooms, and Kamesh tries to tell Anu that building construction was a difficult job, one had to work day and night (really? I thought all the workers went home at night, so what would RR be doing on the premises at night?) She shouts at RR, saying that she had a dreadful headache (idiot, you slipped and hit your head, tell him the full truth), Santhosh went to get her pills and ended up in the police station all night and it was Karthi and MK who got him out of there, why couldn't he have come home at 9 p.m as he had agreed earlier? One of these days, they are going to be murdred in their sleep, she asks if he will at least come to see their dead bodies , or will he not even come for that? RR is shocked, says he will come home at 9 daily.

Anu sees them leaving, comes running to them, and Paati tells her that she thought that Anu would be the anusaranaiyaaga pOravaL (what is wrong with you Paati? I thought you would have supported Anu here). Anu apologizes for talking like that to RR, but Paati doesn't want to stay and leaves.
Sivagami goes home, looking unhappy. VK wants to know what happened, just as she is updating him and Priya, Palli comes there and wants to know what they are saying, but they come up with some other story as usual, which she doesn't believe.

They go to a coffee place to talk, and finally Priya tells Manju about someone called Balaji who is torturing her by calling her all the time. Manju says she will take care of him, and then she sees this guy with his friend right there, so she decides to take care of him right there (Oh no, I hope the story doesn't go on and on with this new character from here). Manju and Priya go up to him, they exchange a few words, and it ends up with Manju slapping the guy left and right.
