Written Update Aug 19, 2011 - Completed

Kesar is at home sitting in the dark playing his musical instrument. He hears Gulaal call his name and looks up to see her with food for him and says they will eat in one plate, but then sees that it is Talli. She asks him to eat something, nobody else has eaten anything. She tells him that her heart tells her everything will be okay, so he shouldn't feel so dejected and helpless. He says everything is finished, she says nothing is finished, there is some ray of hope. He refuses to eat, his phone rings, its from Kunal, he gives it to Talli. She tells him that if the heart's decisions were taken by society's definition of relationships Talli and Kunal would not be together today.

Mota Bha and Paan Baa are in their room sitting in the dark, Mota Bha thinks about Kesar's words about Gulaal's reason for keeping quiet, he asks Paan Baa if they made a mistake misunderstanding Gulaal. Sudha tells Raman that Gulaal always did so much for them, and when time came to understand her and do something for her, they misunderstood her, they made a big mistake. Raman agrees. Talli talks to Kunal about the same thing and says Kesar and Gulaal would have been together today. Kunal shares his pearls of wisdom and discusses their marriage saying they should involve Kesar and Gulaal in preparations. Kunal's mother overhears everything and expresses anger. To cut it short, he says he will marry only Talli at any cost, she is shocked and concerned.

In the morning Gulaal comes from her shower and starts dressing up wearing jewelry and covers her head. Her mother comes saying she doesn't need to wear all this, she should live like before, this is her own house and she can live freely, she should live like their daughter and not Kesar's wife, she should live for herself, and offers to make her hair, Gulaal doesn't seem too happy about this. Poonam uncovers her hair. Reva comes there telling her (calling her Bhabhi) that Kunal has come to meet her. Gulaal turns around with expectation, having to meet someone who is connected with Kesar somehow.

Gulaal goes to meet Kunal, he tells her he wants to meet Talli alone, he called Kesar but Kesar's phone is probably not working, he cannot call at home. He asks Gulaal to call Kesar at home asking him to bring Talli out for sometime. Gulaal agrees.

Gulaal calls, Mota Bha picks up, after he says "hello" a few times she speaks, she cries and asks how he is, he says he is alive, how is she, she says she wanted to talk to Kesar, he gives Kesar the phone. Hearing Kesar's voice her tears fall, Kesar is overwhelmed and happy that she called. Its so funny, they just met the day before yet everyone keeps asking how are you. She says she had a favor to ask of Kesar, he eagerly says tell me, she asks him to bring Talli to the old temple to meet with Kunal, nobody should find out. She then hangs up asking him to take care of himself. She tells Kunal that Kesar will bring Talli. He says if Gulaal would come it would be good, she agrees.

Kesar and Talli are waiting for Kunal and Gulaal. Kesar and Gulaal are happy to see each other and have an eye lock, Kesar likes Gulaal with her hair open in all her glory and is smitten. Gulaal looks so breathless to see him as if she has new feelings that she cannot control, Kesar happily runs towards her but she is rooted to her spot and cannot move. Both are overcome with emotion and Gulaal as always has tears, he tells her she is looking nice, she asks how he is, he asks how she is, she says just the way he left her, he cannot take his eyes off her and says she looks different, very different from before. A flower girl comes, Kesar buys a bunch of white flowers and the girl tells him hope their pair always remains secure, Kesar smiles with bittersweet irony, Gulaal waits expectantly but he doesn't give her the flowers and says they should sit, she says she is fine and then shyly in her old self asks if he will not give her the flowers, he asks how does she know he bought them for her, she says she likes white flowers so she thought he must have bought them for her, he asks can he ever buy them for anyone other than her. They have an eyelock, he hands over the flowers to her and she takes them, he turns to his side and wipes his tears quickly, she senses his pain.

Kunal and Talli come there saying that they have decided to marry tomorrow.

Precap: Kunal is ready to get married and waiting for Kesar and Talli, Gulaal asks him to wait some more, Kunal says he will have to leave soon, Gulaal says whatever Kesar decides to do he will do no matter what, Kunal asks if she trusts Kesar so much, she says more than anyone else, he says where there is so much trust there love too can... Gulaal's smile fades.
