Jacqueline to replace Chitrangda in Krrish 2?

Be it the success of Murder 2, her dare-bare image in the Bhatt film or her recent liaison with filmmaker Sajid Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez have surely been making the headlines this season. Seems like the Sri Lankan beauty has not escaped the eyes of Rakesh Roshan either.

The filmmaker faced with some last minute turmoil as far as the cast of his forthcoming venture Krrish 2 is concerned, has approached Jackie to replace Chitrangda Singh, who will no longer be a part of the project.

A source close to the Roshans informed Mumbai Mirror that both Rakesh Roshan and lead actor Hrithik met Jacqueline for a script reading session for the same. "The meeting with Jacqueline stretched for over three hours.

They discussed the script and the actress was quite keen. By the end, both Hrithik and Rakesh seemed to be quite positive about her," admitted the source.

Explaining why he has started looking for a replacement for Chitrangda, Rakesh Roshan said, "I was to start my film in October and took dates accordingly.

Now, the film is going on floors in December and Chitrangda is having some problems with her dates then. She has already committed her dates to some other project in December and cannot delay it.

So I am looking for some actor who can give the dates according to my schedule." The elder Roshan, however, denied having finalised on any particular actress as of yet.

While the filmmaker cited date problems as the real reason behind his scouting for a new actress, sources claim that it was Chitrangda who had walked out of the project.

"Chitrangda was rather miffed when she read the final script. She had signed the film thinking that it was the role of the main female villain.

However, when the final script emerged, she realised that her role was reduced to something of a cameo. And she did not have time for cameos," revealed another source. When contacted, either actress refused to comment.
