I am known for finding faults with others and being judgmental. But I am very much confused with the show these days(I am liking it though) as I fail to distinguish between the right and the wrong. So I'm trying to view things through the spectacles of u people in the forum. But u people are so convincing at all ur points that I landed up being all the more confused. I am at a loss on what to comment.
Hats off to you all!!!!!!!

hey Mridula...
thanx for the reply hun
@bold...dont worry...coz with the scenario given...there is truly not a right n wrong answer...both Navya n Meeta stand right at their stance and wrong at the opposite stance...there is no fine line between the 2 and thus the question will always be there n asked from generations to generation without getting a true answer...Can motherhood be ever questioned??😳

Shilpa beautifully written as always..For me Meeta's approach is a bit strict but its justifiable nonetheless..She is just trying to protect Navya from the big bad world out there..She still thinks of Navya as a child who doesn't know whats good and bad for her..Had she sat down and though about this whole scenario with a cool head for once then she wouldn't have imposed her decision on Navya without even giving Anant a chance to prove himself..

Very aptly put...Meeta is doing wat any mother of any species...human or animal...wud do if they fear an unknown approaching their baby..😳

Meeta's emotional state right now can be summed up quite nicely:

1)Shock (check)
2)Denial ( She is going through it right now)
3)Acceptance (It will come when Navya tells her that Meeta too has changed)
Once again...well summed up...Yes...right now...Meeta is the phase called aftermath of the initial shock and she herself is dealing with her scattered emotions...the 3rd phase will take some time tho...I feel...After Navya tells Meeta how she has also changed...I somehow think...Meeta will take a pause to her restless heart and reflect on her actions n the situation...then rationalise and slowly ...very subtly take on the acceptance stage...so I think...b4 the 3rd step will come 2 more steps:
Reflect and then React and then Accept😳

You know what I love about the currect track? There is no clear line between right and wrong ..I can't blame Meeta for reacting the way she did, and I can't blame Navya either for agreeing to Meeta's rules meekly..They are each right in their own place..Both of them are still trying to find the balance between tradition and modernism..
BINGO!!!!👏👏...yup...both are right n wrong collectively and there is no fine line to distinguish both
With that said and done, thank you for the awesome post and keep writing..🤗

thanks for the awesome reply Tanuuu 🤗

Hi Shilpa, lovely post!

I pretty much agree with the above viewpoints esp pixigirl's...All of our parents have screwed us up at some point or the other to a greater or lesser extent...😊...unfortunate but true...but usually with 'daadi sab jaane' good intentions...it doesnt excuse them but we wanted a REAL show!

Truly said...n thats where the humanhood was slaughtered under the name of parenthood

@ tanu...well said, the current scenario, each one is right, Meeta as well as Navya. Now we need to see how the cvs balance it.
@ Nisha...all parents have some time or the other taken some bad descisions about us in life, which they thought was right, but turned out to be wrong in the long run...couldnt agree with u more.
Shilpa, I think its a cycle. As a daughter, I have questioned my parents action sometimes, and never liked their descisions. But today as a mother, even I am in the same deliema. I want to do it right, but I dont know why? even with the best intentions, I mess it. Even though it is a serial, it has raised many a doubts in my mind, which hopefully as the show proceeds, am able to clear my thoughts .

@ black bold
Its exactly like how I mentioned ...until u explore the dynamics of being a mother urself...U truly dont know understand motherhood...and I suppose...now u are in that boat of feeling n being able to comprehend with wat ur mom must have gone thru...
yes its a cycle n part of living a complete life😳
@ Purple bold
All parents make blunders...and thats simply becoz they have no ultra super powers with them to foresee the future...They are just as a human as u and I and are exploring life n their parenthood as they go along...and with wateva they experience in life...they learn from it and try to use that experience to protect their child from making the mistakes they may have made or seen others do...What they forget is that each individual is going to have a different situation than the other...in a different time phase...so while sometimes their experience can help prevent mess...it can also create more...😳...Again...thats simply becoz they are human and all humans are bound to error 😳
