Written Update Aug 17 - Completed

Kesar comes beating the jeep driver inside his house yelling for Mota Bha and asks the guy to spill the beans to Mota Bha, the guy says he did it at Durgesh's bidding. Mota Bha asks Kesar to calm down and says the cops will take care of the guy. I was surprised to see that Mota Bha didn't react much to the knowledge of someone else murdering Vasant. But I guess CVs don't have much time to waste on this matter. Paan Baa sees Kesar and is emotional, she asks him to come back, he says he cannot without Gulaal. She says he doesn't care about his parents and is still supporting Gulaal, Kesar tells them about Gulaal's reason for hiding the truth, but Mota Bha and Paan Baa don't come around, he leaves.

Gulaal is pacing around waiting for Kesar worried, Kunal and Talli come there, she is happy to see Talli. Kunal tells her that they have decided to get married in the temple day after tomorrow and want Kesar and Gulaal to be present. Gulaal is surprised and hesitates going against the family, Kesar comes there and supports them saying that when elders don't support the younger people have to take matters in their own hands, he agrees to support Kunal, Gulaal comes around. Talli tells Gulaal that she herself said Talli should marry someone who loves her with a true heart, she will not find a better life partner than Kunal. Gulaal hears this and is lost in thought, as if she is missing something hearing Talli's words, as if they remind her of something but she doesn't yet know what. Talli and Kunal leave.

Kesar tells Gulaal to get food ready, she asks what they said, he tells her he will never let her go there, they will never understand her. Gulaal is upset and goes to serve food.

At night Mota Bha and Paan baa are sitting alone at the dinner table, Jamna is feeding Ghigha in his room, Mota Bha flashbacks to Gulaal's serving them food happily.

Gulaal is cooking, Kesar starts clicking photos, she says she doesn't like to take photos, he tells her that tomorrow a decision will be made on their deeyarvattu the next day and he wants to capture her in his camera. Gulaal feels sad, he tells her to continue working. She tells him she doesn't like to take photos, he teases her saying that as a kid she liked taking photos that also with two ponytails, she says it was a different time, he says yes that is true, she no longer makes two ponytails, Gulaal gives in and continues cooking while he clicks photos, she makes funny poses for him. He says now they should have one photo together. He goes closer to her and she becomes conscious while he looks at her lovingly, she tells him to take the photo, he says they need to come closer, he smiles and takes a photo and she fake smiles clearly conscious of his presence. He laughs and looks at the photo and says that he had to take one last photo of theirs together, in that also he has come only half. She asks him to take another one, he refuses and says he is happy with this, tomorrow onwards will he even remain this much in her life. He says this last part so sadly as if his heart is breaking, and Gulaal too all the time looks as if her heart is heavy and sad at this separation. He looks at her with pain and asks what will happen tomorrow, as if his eyes are pleading with her to not break his heart and he is scared of a life without her. She looks at him and sees his pain, he says he is not hungry and goes to sleep.

At night Gulaal is sleeping and crying while she flashbacks to Kesar's words about the last photo. She looks at Kesar sleeping a little away and feels very sad. Kesar is awake too sad about what will happen next day onwards. Gulaal turns around and Kesar turns and looks at her before turning around back to his thoughts.

Saru tells Mota Bha to get ready to leave for the panchayat. I expected more from Saru - what is the point of having her if she cannot be a catalyst for calming everyone and bringing Kesar and Gulaal together.

The panchayat announces that their head will be Mota Bha since Dushyant is not there. Mota Bha gives an introduction to why they are there 3 months later, to hear Kesar and Gulaal's decision. Kesar looks at Gulaal as if everything depends on her alone.

Precap: Kesar tells Gulaal that she should decide keeping her wants in mind and think only of herself and nobody else. Gulaal announces to the panchayat that she wants to break the deeyarvattu even today. Kesar is shattered. I feel so bad for Kesar, the poor guy is never a priority in Gulaal's mind. Its always Vasant, then the family, what about Kesar, she stayed in that house for him but since his return it has never been about him.
