Written Update Aug 16, 2011

Gulaal is in the kitchen when someone throws a chit that says that today the truck just passed Kesar by, if he doesn't stop pursuing his brother's case the truck will go over him the next time. Gulaal flashbacks to Kesar's coming to the house all muddy saying that the bicycle slipped, clearly he missed an accident. Gulaal is shocked and worried and goes to speak to Kesar but sees him sleeping.

Raman comes home and sits in the dark, and flashbacks to the deep sorrow he caused his parents. Jamna turns on the light and tells him that she was blind to his faults and had to see this day, because of him Dushyant is in prison, to save Raman and fulfill his promise to Jamna he took all the blame on himself yet Raman was quiet, had he admitted his fault that day things would not have reached this stage, his father's situation would not have been so bad. He apologizes to her crying, she tells him that she kept protecting him but he insulted his own mother's love and trust with his behavior, he had lost everyone else's trust long back but today he lost his mother's trust as well, today onwards she will think that she doesn't have a son named Raman and he should think his mother is dead, this is both their punishment. Sudha comes there, he pleads with her to talk to Jamna but she refuses showing him the mirror. Raman cries.

Gulaal wakes up and sees Kesar awake. He is preparing his bicycle and tells her excitedly that he received a big order for sarees, everything will be fine, when Gulaal comes worried and holds his hand scared and shows him the chit. Kesar gets angry and says he will not leave these people and starts leaving to give someone a good beating when Gulaal stops him, Kesar says he cannot let Vasant's killers go free, he is not scared of them, Gulaal says but she is scared of them. Kesar softens seeing her concern and calms a bit. Gulaal says she is scared, she has lost a lot in her life, if something were to happen to him... saying so she has tears in her eyes and cannot even get the words out as if she cannot even fathom losing Kesar. Kesar is touched and his heart is overwhelmed. He tells her that she is with him, nothing will happen to him, he knows she is worried about him, he assures her that he will take care of himself, after all he has her responsibility on his head as well, how can he let anything happen to himself. Gulaal is touched hearing this and looks at him, he corrects himself saying that for as long as they are tied in the deeyarvattu... then he realizes just one month is remaining, not even one full month, and is sad and looks at her in disbelief at how time flies. Gulaal tries to avoid thinking about it and uses the shelter of her sari holding it around her head tightly and leaves to get food ready. Kesar tells her that for the little time they are together, can they fill the rest of their days with happiness so much that after they part he can live leaning on these memories. Gulaal has tears but then turns around and gives him a slight smile.

The song starts playing "yeh jeevan hai". Kesar and Gulaal are eating at night in one plate, Raman apologizes to Sudha, she refuses but then gives in, Kunal's mother shows him photos of girls and he ignores them. Mota Bha comes to see Ghigha, Jamna is crying at his bed and sees Mota Bha and shuts the door on him.

Kesar goes shopping and while waiting he sees the jeep driver. Kesar runs over to him and starts beating him badly saying he searched a lot for him and will not let him go now, who killed Vasant, the guy says he doesn't know anything, Kesar keeps beating him and yells for him to tell him everything, the guy is about to choke under Kesar's hands when he agrees to tell him everything and Kesar stops beating him.

Precap: Kesar tells Gulaal that he wanted to click one last photo of his with Gulaal's and even in that his face is just partly visible in the photo. Gulaal asks if they should click one more, he refuses and says that he is happy with this much, he doesn't know if after tomorrow he will stay even this much in her life. Kesar says this very sadly and in a lot of pain, and Gulaal sees his pain of losing her.
