COLD VIBES: Abhay (Anuj Saxena) and Mahi (Poonam Narula Goyal) of Kkusum |
Abhay slaps Mahi!
Kkusum's Mahi (Poonam Narula Goyal) has made a startling confession. And this has made her screen hubby Abhay (Anuj Saxena) see red. In a fit of rage, he gives her a tight slap.
Before you jump to conclusion… this has nothing to the recent buzz that off-screen Mahi and Abhay share some icy cold vibes. Instead, it is to do with tonight's episode of Kkusum which will have Mahi in confession mode.
She claims responsibility for all her wrong doings only for the sake of being accepted by the Kapoor family. This leaves Abhay fuming and he confronts her for the truth. When Mahi speaks, there is high drama including Kkusum (Shilpa Saklani) calling her up for a heart-to-heart!

| IN HAPPIER TIMES: Amol (Anuj Saxena) and Prratima (Jyoti Mukerji) | Prratima producer Raja Mukerji, who was in the news recently over Kirron Kher's decision to walk out of his daily SaharaOne show, now finds himself at the receiving end again.
Brother of Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji, he hurt himself badly three days ago for which he had to be administered 22 stitches.
The injury on his hand has caused him not only immense agony but also left him bedridden. "It has been a terrible experience," he says.
The incident happened at his Versova home when he tried to pick up a glass panel.
"I slipped while trying to pick up this thick, huge glass piece that was lying on the bathroom floor," says Mukerji. "It happened so suddenly, the glass slipped out of my hand and I fell on it."
He injured his left hand extensively and was rushed to the doctors. As the gnash was deep, he had to take 22 stitches. "I have been in pain ever since and the bandages have left me housebound," he adds.
With Mukerji out of action, the shoot of his serial Prratima has also been hit as he has to call the shots from home. "It will take me some days to get back," he says.
shaheen@mid-day.com Rohit was first choice for Kasauti role By: Tushar Joshi June 16, 2005 The news that Amar Upadhyay secured a role in Balaji's Kasautii Zindagi Kay (Star Plus) is old. However, little does anyone know that the original choice for the role was Rohit Roy.
Roy who's currently seen in Sarrkkar (Zee) as Karan Pratap Singh was the first choice for the role now essayed by Upadhyay. If that had worked out he would be playing brother to his real life sibling Ronit Roy for a second time. Confirming this Roy says, "Yes I was approached for the role."
Explaining why he didn't do the role he said, "There were a couple of things that didn't work out. I didn't have the requisite dates and another was the money offered."
Balaji Telefilm's head honcho Ekta Kapoor however maintains, "We had some issues with the dates. It isn't anything major. I look forward to working with him in the future."
Sources close to Roy say that the actor is currently having talks with Ekta and discussing other possibilities.
A cautious Roy while not denying this, said,"I think it's too premature to reveal anything about the discussion. All I can say is that both of us are keen to work with each other and in the future something may be worked out."
Roy has earlier worked with Balaji on Kkusum, where he played the lead role of Abhay Kapoor now played by Anuj Saxena.
These days the actor is busy shooting for Zee's Sarrkkar, Dance Divas on Zoom and he will also appear on the big screen in Ek Hasina Ek Khiladi with Fardeen and Koena Mitra. tushar.joshi@mid-day.com | | | |
