Ek shaam azaadi ke naam

Sony TV has taken a step ahead in their pledge against crime as they dedicate an evening to freedom from terror, corruption and slavery with three of their leading crime shows CID,Adalat and Crime Patrol.Leading men Shivaji Satam aka ACP Pradyuman,Ronit Roy aka K D Pathak and Anoop Soni joined hands to salute the spirit of independence. In Adalat, the chief minister of state Arvind Rao Patil gets accused for the murder of a journalist.KD thinks that this is a conspiracy against the chief minister because the CM has made a promise to the country to reveal a list of corrupt government officers. On the other hand, someone desperately wants KD to lose this case.ACP Pradyuman will be seen facing the biggest dilemma of his life where he will have to choose between saving the city from a terror attack and his entire team who has been kidnapped and is going to be executed! In Crime Patrol,Anoop Soni will deal with centuries old feudal system with a difference.Somewhere in a remote district in Maharashtra,a poor farmer invites the wrath of the village sarpanch and money lender because he repays the loan on time. The money-lender takes the unprecedented repayment as an insult and decides to teach the farmer a lesson so that he and other poor farmers never dare to free themselves from the shackle of slavery.
Tune into Sony Entertainment Television for an Independence special weekend from 12 to 14 August from 8 pm to 12 am.
