What made u watch geet??

Hey frnds
I'm very embarrassed to admit that I didn't watched geet from the very beginning!! I started watching it sm 7 months back but that doesn't mean I hvnt watched the previous episodes.. I watched it on YouTube... In my defence I wud say that as I didn't lived in India, so I never watched ny promo or ny news whatsoever...

Today I want to confess what made me watch geet.. One day I was just going through sm songs on YouTube n I came across this vm on maaneet.. N after watching this vm, it completely changed my life.. Now I can't even live for a day w/o geet...

So I thought of paying my gratitude towards whoever made that vm.. It was by "810kankana"

I'm sure smthing has also inspired each n every one of you to watch geet... It may be a promo, or news, or vm, or video, or something else...
Please share ur views n do tell what made u watch geet for the very first time... I wud love to know that

Hey I too did not watch Geet from the Start, i knew ki it was directed by my Fav Director from the TV Industry -Mr Nissar Parvez...But something about Geet's Promos and the show did not quite captivate me...

While going thru the channels, i happen to come across a scene in a show on Starone, where there was this girl in trouble asking help from a Guy, when i saw the girl i was like "yeh toh apni Muski Hai..." (After her role as Dr. Muskaan Chadda in DMG) there were Goons behind her and she was pleading for help and , here was the guy who instead of helping her pushes her away, that scene and the way it was executed totally blew me off, that was the firt time i think, i decided to give Geet a try, and i now know for sure, that i will never regret that decision😉

I too did not watch Geet from the beginning although I knew there was such a serial.Then once i was ill and had to take complete bed rest. I remember very clearly it was a Saturday and being bored i was surfing thru channels and came across this SO show. It was the outhouse episodes and they were showing an omnibus (the whole week's episodes in repeat). I loved the sequences and then realised the girl was muskan. She was so cute in those episodes that watched all on that day. Then I repeated the same on following Saturday. But somehow I was lost with the serial as I had not watched it from the beginning and did not know what was happening in it. One thing I will be honest about and that is MSK did not impress me all that much at that time.Then since I did not know what was happening I gave it up.

After a few months I had gone on a holiday abroad. i had to go stay with my niece who was studying abroad as my SIL could not be with her. There I was surfing IF and came across GF. having nothing much to do and a lot of spare time I began reading the articles and was taken in by the craze of the fans for this show. So I watched one episode to find out what was so good about it. the one I watched was after the mang bharo epiosode. I was so taken in by GC's acting that I was totally hooked to the forum. Then I went to star player and watched the show from episode 1 believe me I watched all the episodes from April to November and caught on with the show in less than 2 weeks. Since then I have become a gr8 fan of this show and of Gurti and have rewatched the episodes umpteen times.

So this is my true story of how I came upon GHSP and now I can't miss even one single episode and can't stay even one day without visiting the forum.

RBO and geet started together.

I watch geet's first episode for DD (Used to like her as muskaan) and RBO's first episode for KT (Used to like him in LNMDJ).

I saw the scene of dev and geet.I didnot like dev and stopped watching the show.But i keep watching RBO.

One day on RBO forum i have seen a girl saying that i'm waiting for Kurbaan hua sequence in geet and kuch khass hai in RBO.

I really like her DP which was the first hug of maneet in jungle.

I was like 😕 this guy was not the hero before.

Then i had seen the episode of Kurbaan hua sequence.

I really loveee the dance.I have not seen that type of sequence in any drama.

Then i came on GF and searched for story so far after that i had seen whole maneet scenes till that date.

I was addicated to the couple and the show.

I don't want this show to end!

I watched it from the airport scene, it blew me away

my hatred for Dev was rising day by day, and DD was excellent and so emotive in that scene, she was brilliant

Then i went back to watch the week's precap

Then Geet became my fav tv show, its the only indian serial i watch and i really enjoy

After that there was no going back

i started watching it because of the office romance...but it was on and off due to studies and all...but after i saw the dhaba episode behne de i loved gurti...i got goosebumps by their acting...havent missed any episodes after that day but not seen initial ones as i didnt get tym but have seen all maaneet scenes on youtube...

For me it is Gurmeet Choudhary without a doubt. My parents watched Ramayan religiously though I would have to agree I'm not a fan of mythological soaps and I dunno myself whether I should be ashamed or not but I know only a few characters of both Ramayan and Mahabharat. I was forced to watch Ramayan at 9:30 pm cause that was dinner time for me. One thing of GC that captivated me were his oh so expressive and beautiful eyes in Ramayan... I was not his fan then as much as I am now...One day I was going through the channels on a weekend in July last year... Star one was telecasting Geet... there was this scene where Geet was in a beautiful red punjabi lehenga...and Maan just barged into the dressing room...God GC was looking killer and to top it all, 😍the looks he was giving to Geet with his lovely eyes 😍 and I was dead then and there itself😆...so there you go...

and I think u missed the most beautiful phase of Geet on TV... neverthless better late than never... Internet is available at your disposal anytime...YT ki jai ho... even I missed the initial days of GHSP like around 3.5 months I guess

Me too..I didnt see GHSP from the begining... 😒

In fact i got irritated when i watch the posters and tag lines "NRI se shadi nhe hoti khushiyo ki guarantee"...i thot another rona-dhona drama...

But then one day i saw a handsone guy coming on a jeep...with a dashing bgm on a promo and it said "Kya Maan bacha payega Geet ko maut se" (something similar dont remenber xact words) I flipped the channel, "pata nhe kya he..yet another Love triangle"

Then i saw the conference room Hum tum scene...I watched the whole episode and actually liked it...but again the alter (like the two three Devs) "Har serial me yehi koi simple ladki will love an amir guy...soon she will wear all heavy jewellery make-up..irritating.."

After that came Kurbaa hua...promo..."OMG this show is something..."

My frnz started discussing about Maan & Geet. And one of my friend bunked the 1'o clock class daily so that she could reach home to watch the repeat at 2:00

Now that made me curious...wats so special???

I saw the "white rose" episode...and then i downloaded some of the episodes like Kurbaa hua...Hum tum... 😍

I didnt realise iwas becoming a Maaneetian...

And then i went crazy and took an internet offer for my mobile and saw all the episodes till date...After that no lukin back...😃

Hey hi guys wow liked the way you guys expressed ur feeling and how u came across ghsp!!here I would also love to share how I came across!!! Basically I'm frm Singapore and my country don't telecast ghsp or we don't hav star one!!!( which I hope to hav)

It was Wednesday 24 august 2010 when my di and I met up after her sch!! She told me she came across this drama which was interesting!!! Trust me I'm very hard to get impressed!!! Then she told me check it out!! I was like ok will( didn't reali meant it)!!! At nite my di remembered me to see it so I had no choice sat with her and she clicked an ep where's the party tonight I was seeing the scenes before!!! After seeing the ep I was totally fallen head over heels over them!!! The way the dance, act and their maahhhiii!!!! The next day I started catching upon the earlier eps!!! It took me three days to watch 3 mth ep and trust me i would hav finish seeing it within two days if I didn't hav to stop whenever my parents were back home!!! After some time I came across this gf and was glued to it!! I had to beg my for the internet which after sometime I got irritated!! My di n I bought one on our own without parents knowing!!! When they got to noe there was a big singing class!!!!( still getting one since I glue to it most of the time) Gradually I downloaded most of the ep in my phone and even had a whole list of days!!! Then i bought iPhone juz to watch maaneet scenes whenever I want and to go gf to check out the lastest update!!! So here's my journey!!!! I totally in love with them!!!!
