At the Patwardhan house, Sonakshi has come, to brief them about her plans for the court case and makes a grand stand, of how she will teach Ayush a lesson, the gentleman comes in with his brown envelope flaunting it in front of him, and challenges them, and taunts Akruti and then Akruti stands up and challenges him, and says, that she has that much sense to admit her mistake, but he does not have the guts to admit that he is the father of the child. At that, he raises his hand to hit Akruti, and Daksh stops him, by holding his forearm, and sends him from the house. After exchanging some heated words, he hears from Naina, who confirms that Akruti is not the same now, and just as she told him, she will fight him, and it is better he engages a good lawyer, and they see them in court. Ayush leaves in a huff.
Sonakshi tries to ingratiate herself, by showing sympathy to Akruti, and takes her to her room, where Rohini comes to fiddle in muddied waters, and agitates Sonakshi's insecurities, by her vile innuendos, and sarcastic remarks, portraying Naina as the wicked witch, who has been hounding her ever since she came into this house, and when Sonakshi tells her to fight back, she commiserates on her sad plight, where all the other members of the house are blinded by the viles of Naina, and she is adept at hoodwinking them, and the worst culprit whom she has seduced is her mother in law, who defends Naina at every opportunity, so much so, she even made enmity with her own sister, for Naina's sake. With rolling eyes, and creezing forehead furrows, she gives the impression of being the injured one, and seeks the sympathy of Sonakshi, and feeds her with all false ideas, to create a wedge between her and Naina. Sonakshi is despondent, and leaves to go to her home.
Daksh and Naina spend a few moments by themselves on the terrace, where she helps him to reminisce about their first meeting in Darjeeling, on the train. She promises, that after overcoming all odds, one day they will meet again in that same place, and laughingly, Daksh tells her that again they will be quarreling with each other, and she smiles at him, and hugs him, and places her head against his chest, and he dreams of the love he feels for her.
Shyamal is still feeling frightened, what Ayush could do to hurt Akruti, and her husband grumbles that no one is thinking about him, who has to be out most of the time, and he may engage ruffians to beat him up. Daksh offers him, police protection, and he remarks that now he will have to go out accompanied by guards, as if the talk of the people was not enough to spoil the name of his family.
At Joshi residence, Sonakshi is worried, and her mother comes and asks her about what she has done for the Akruti case, and she gets revulsion, and grumbles at her saying that everything is going wrong, as Daksh is influenced by Naina. As she is talking to her mother, the father enters with the good news of having ordered a cake for her birthday, and persuades her to have a party, and forget about all others. He tells his wife not to put his daughter in a bad mood, and he goes on praising his daughter, and tells her to invite Daksh, and to spend some quality time with him. Keep that Naina away from him, is his advice for her, and his wife, with her worried eyebrows, and sad eyes, leaves from the place. One wonders, if she has a premonition about Naina, and who she could be. She knows that a daughter of Diwakar is in town, but she does not know where she is. Perhaps, this talk of illegitimate children, and the way his own family is treating this subject may be haunting her, as to what they would do, if they came to know if that she too had one, and that too, in this very town.
Vibha receives a call, from Sonakshi, and she wants to invite Daksh for the party. Daksh does not want to speak to her, and Sonakshi asks his mother, to convey the message to him. She puts the phone down, and persuades her son, to go for the party, but he gives excuses that he has work, and can not go. Daksh and Naina have decided not to tell the home people about them, as the time is not right, due to Akruti and her predicament. Rohini and her viper tongue starts wagging, and she starts with her insinuations, and mocks at Daksh that if he has not time for his would be bride, what kind of a person he would be thought of as. He ignores her. Naina, stares at Daksh.
Star Plus will have a Maha Episode on Sunday, 14th August, at 8.00 p.m. IST , where Daksh will give Sonakshi the answer she deserves to hear.
