From Chandragupt to Chandragupt Maurya

Hi

I am new to this forum but I have followed the show throughout for Chanakya ( my favourite character in the show ) , Chandru ( will miss the little lad massively ) and Dhananand ( evil was never this sadistically mischievous ). Today , when almost an era of this show came to an end with Chandragupt vowing his life to heroism, war and victory , I just had to hop in and drop a post.

First , am going to miss little Chandragupt a lot . Big time. He was the driver of the show if Chanakya is the genesis and the soul of the show. His masculine bravery , courage , valour , sensitivity and sensibility beyond his years and all the makings of an exceptional human-being who is destined to rise to power and unmatched authority – all neatly packaged into a brilliant little boy . The writers , the actor , the creatives underlined it strongly and intelligently that just why little Chandru will be the great Chandragupt Maurya some day.

I won't say the episode was great today but the last 5-6 minutes were moving and power packed. Chandragupt's last moments with his mother's dead body , his promise to Chanakya that he will turn all this tragedy into courage were subtle but ran deep. The background score they use for Chandragupt's mother and him is such a tear jerker. I hope Chandragupt still thinks of his mother when we see him all grown up next week.

And now, from Chandru to THE CHANDRAGUPT MAURYA. The journey has begun and well, welcome Aashish. He is a fine actor with an intense face and really expressive eyes , so I am hoping that he will be the mature and more powerful reflection of the little Robinhood we saw for so long. I liked his whole look , his styling and his entry which has been left on a tantalizing note so that you come back next week.

Favourite shot : Little Chandragupt turning to Chanakya and giving him the promise after cremating his mother. And the final shot of grown-up Chandragupt's eyes rising from behind the sword.

Thanks for reading.

Love and luck always,❤️

GOD bless everyone.🤗

welcum to d forum dear !! & dont mind ( u can take it as my personal opinion ) but i didnt lyk ashish's entry too much..i mean dat it was shown in a too much filmy way, & den his pose wid d sword in front d enemy on horse-back..it luked as if he was posing 4 a photo shoot 😲 !! he cud hv stood straight holding d sword firmly in his hands lyk he did in d promo, dat wud hv luked more king-like😊. & den his overall entry, y dis filmy entry 😡?? dey cud hv gvn a voiceover to bridge d gap of dis 10 yrs leap😕!! dat wud hv been much better & a bit realistic .😊

Poca, it's great to see your post on this forum. I love all of your analyses on IPKKND and this is also great. Little Chandu will be missed greatly, I felt the impact greatly in today's episode. He has grown so much and it very mature for a young age, Rushi was amazing as CGM. I am also an admirer of Chanakya, he is such an inspirational person. Chandu's scenes with C was touching. His mourning was heart wrenching and finally Chandu agreed to protect his nation with all his heart. The glimpses of elder CGM was awesome. I'm confident that Ashish will meet our expectation and even awe us with his performance. The final scene was great with the capturing of his fearless eyes.
