Angad Khanna: Our love-hate bond!

Hi guys,

I felt like writing this post after seeing today's episode. I think that we will share a love-hate bond with Angad.No matter what, I cannot bring myself to categorise Angad in the lines of Mihir Virani or Anurag Basu…..Angad is really something else…..everybody knows that am a STAUNCH Kripa supporter….yet, now my heart goes out to Angad as well.

When Angad cries…you feel for him instead of calling him stupid and nincompoopish…when he is happy, you feel happy too and when he is sad , you want to reach out and hug him…..personally, I feel that Angad is one of the most falliable yet applaudable characters ever from the K-brigade. His anger…his vulnerability…his mistakes…his ruthless side…have a charm of its own.It's not just Angad but especially the way IQ has portrayed the character is what makes Angad endearing.

WHY WE LOVE HIM?

We love him for his golden-heart under all that swashbuckling arrogant Casanova image…..we love him for the way he balances his ruthlessness and vulnerability…we love him for his passionate, intense n yet sensitive character…we feel for him because under all that anger…there is a lost boy inside him…we love him for the madness with which he loves Kripa….we want to reach out and give him a bear hug because he is so lonely…..we adore him for his innocence n gullibility which he hides behind his larger-than-life persona….

WHY WE HATE HIM?

We hate him for his fiery temper which blinds his logic and kills his sensitivity…we hate him for his ruthless streak which is capable of anything and everything…we cannot stand his impulsive and headstrong nature….we hate him for the hurt that he if going to cause Kripa and himself……we hate him for not having enough faith in his love…for being a victim of one of the most basic human weaknesses…skepticism n suspicion !

Guys, Angad doesn't deserve brickbats or sympathy…he needs empathy. I am not going to blame Angad or even Kripa for the future turbulence…sometimes love is star-crossed…and forces of nature conspire against you….you really can't blame A-K…..they are destined to love and hurt each other…..this is normal Ekta-fare but love suffers enough in real life as well.

As for Prithvi……I feel his marriage to Kripa will destroy the beauty of that special relationship that him n Kripa share. He is the perfect guy….no doubt but if I was in Kripa's place, I would never insult his feelings n his friendship by marrying him if my heart lies elsewhere…this is plain dishonesty.If I cannot love him back…I cannot marry him.

Prithvi is someone I would love to hold on to in times of crisis and party around in times of happiness…..he would be my guardian angel…..Angad is someone I want to grow old with, do mistakes together and then laugh over them and finally walk the sunset with him…he would be my soulmate.

If Angad hurts Kripa, he 'll hurt himself twice as much...Angad can control his head but not his heart....infact nobody can.

If you do not agree….forgive me…am a loveatic!

yup i totally agree that angad's character is more endeaaring coz of iqbal's potrayal.....he really has the most amazing expresssive eyes.....

as for prithvi, not that i don like him, but i feel he is toooooooooo nice, if u know what i mean

Ya, Prithvi is more like a big-brother figure for me...I'll always be in awe of him...worship him...respect him but feel too inferior a partner if marriage is in question!

As for Angad, I can fight and make-up with him all my life.😆

That was a very intriguing and captivating analysis of Angad's character. I surely agree with you that Iqbal acts in such a way that we feel Angad's personality. His eyes are very expressive in illuminating his heart-felt emotions in the show.

Angad did not realize the meaning of love before because no one brightened his life like Kripa did. Even though Angad was oblivious about love earlier, he was searching for what his heart truly desired—and found Kripa. We loved the cute fighting scenes between Angad and Kripa because it showed his childishness, which was depicted brilliantly by him.

Even Angad's jealousy poured his true feelings when he could not get attention from Kripa. We loved his acting because he made it look real. The chemistry between them seemed fantastic and it kept getting better and better.

Angad was represented as someone whose personality has been altering as he kept identifying his inner self. When love entered his life, he could think of nothing else except being with Kripa every moment. The romantic scenes were excellent because he acted as a lover, who aimed to keep his beloved cheerful by doing the sweetest things for her. We loved him more and more, because he had become such a passionate lover. I mean from being an arrogant guy, to being furious one, then moving towards being nonchalant person, leading to jealousy, walking in direction of attraction, and eventually landing in love---so many steps he has taken.

Lately, the part that we hate is that he is not confronting Kripa and listening to his family members. What disappointed me about Angad was that he very easily believed everyone else rather than retaining his faith in their love. I mean I understand that they showed him a lot of proofs and he heard that Kripa lied, but I think he should have asked Kripa rather than thinking that she betrayed him for money. Wouldn't you give your love one chance to clear up the misunderstandings and know the reality? Now, we will see the ruthless side of Angad towards Kripa---and he's going to break her trust as well.

Angad's character receives both love and hate because of his intensity in portraying it so wonderfully. I hope that he is able to find the truth in Kripa's love, instead of disbelieving her actions. I wish that Angad and Kripa are together because of their love, but if Angad treats her miserably all along from this point on, then he doesn't deserve her. Sorry if anyone doesn't agree.
