Part 1
Today's episode should be Nishi, Carisma , Shrish and Chakku's food for entertainment as it was an out and out band –baaja –baraat episode jahaan aaj basically ek-ek character ki literally lagg gayi. Dekho kaise….
Arnab band bajaaoed of Haseena by civilly complaining of Abhay's serial dating problem. Haseena band bajaaoed of Arnab by belying all natural logics of the vampire world and not being visible as a mirror reflection. Tote , kabootar , kauwe , sabb udd gaye Arnab ke and he ran out of Raichand Mansion screaming low blood pressure.
Kabir and Jeh took out a total beizzati and lappadgiri ka procession of Tanushree Ambolkar. Kabir flirted with T's Jane and Harriet and poked fun at her antics in front of the whole college , making it clear that he is not coming back to her. Jeh verbally and physically made Maybelline Marmalade out of her by first threatening her and then shoving her to the ground. T also had her chance. She took aims at Jeh by ridiculing him in typical BIATCH style and Jeh was angry enough to raise his hand at her. Ladki ki hadd hai , yaar. Iska munh Kabir, Abhay , Jeh , koi bandh nahiin kar sakta.
Haseena ne aaj Abhay ki lagaa ke rakh di for getting into cheap flings and man , was she angry! Super upset with her son's affair with Tandoori Turkey , she bashed him right left center. Lekin Abhay par kahaan kisi ki baat ka koi asar hota hai? He had his share of utlaa jawaabs and behooda-giri to give Haseena. He said he knew what he was doing and Haseena basically told him to get lost. Maa-Bete ne olive oil mein fry kar diya ek doosre ko.
Piya kaise peechhe rehti, bhala? She dived into newspapers as she has become obsessed with her dream where her precious Abhay saved her. Paper leke pahonch gayi jungle mein ghoomi-ghoomi karne aur wahaan Abhay ki lagg gayi. Itni raat mein dauda-daudake Abhay ka band bajaa diya. Aur jungke mein bournvita bhi nahiin hai ki bechaara ladkaa pi le. Memory chali gayi lekin aaj bhi Abhay ko Tommy ki tarah yahaan se wahaan bhagaana acche se aata hai Piya ko.
PART 2
On a serious note , I loved the last 1 minute of the episode ( the whole episode was reasonably good but this was my fave part ). Piya approaching the damned spot where Maithli , Abhay and Sid had died- the spot where Piya herself was set afire and Abhay had come running to save her . The moment she stepped there – even the audience has this feeling of dj vu and history repeating itself for a third time. As Piya began to live her dream again , Abhay was actually coming running all the way for her. She seemed to go into a trance for a few minutes as she recalled herself screaming for Abhay and Abhay running through the fire to be with her …….
And the shot is straight out of a fairytale. Piya just sensed Abhay coming – AGAIN. She turned around and peered into the fog and Abhay emerged. Piya was not angry , not shocked , not cribbing . not accusing – she looked as though in a fairytale bubble. She simply asked him that he came ? And Abhay , calm , quiet and unruffled said that not coming for her was never even an option. He just had to come and he did.
As Piya looked at Abhay with stars in her eyes and Abhay stood still, the moment was perfect.
It indeed was the dialogue exchange of the day.
Piya – Abhay, tum aa gaye?
Abhay – Kaise nahiin aata.
I know , Abhay might say something hurtful tomorrow or they might even fight , but the AbhIya we saw in the last few seconds are the AbhIya we know and what AbhIya really are – Surreal Soulmates.
