Holas SGPians... Yesh yesh its moi.. me and myself .. Tanu the MIA SGPian... also badnaam as Khota Potas Amma and Bandar Rijuls, Bandarni Sistah! 😛

The new SGP article from TB (yesh moi the news reporter forever at ur service 😆) seems to open up an amazing topic for debate..!!

25 years and Jealousy...SGPians kya aap Mano ke na Mano???

Ok now lemme put my two cents...

At the outset.. let moi declare..that moi ij yet to be married.. so moi views mite be a bit immature at some places.. but still as Vimrod says... 'Our ignorance ought not stifle our opinions' so .. here we go..!!

25 years of marriage.. one would expect the hubby/wifey to know each other completely... ! Having shared.. happiness saddness... success failure.. health.. sickness... and also raising a family .. they ought to truly embody 'Do jism.. Ek jaan' and 'Hum tum ek jaan hai'!! Honestly when u know a person for this long... a third person coming in the picture and one showering attention on him/her over their spouse shouldnt be a bone of contention..!! But then... would one be able to bear the kind of OTTness that say we observed Ishaan do?? I dont think so... Would a spouse be right in being upset seeing his/her better half cross limits?? Definitely...!!

But what if .. theres no limits crossed or what if theres no OTTness.. just old friends catching up over dinner n lunch n say a few shopping expeditions ...maybe cancelling few 'hum tum' moments with ones spouse... would then Jealousy be an expected and accepted reaction??? My thots... is NO..!! When u know ur man/ woman for this long.. u ought to know that there is always something special that binds the two of u... a relation based on pure compromise and NO LOVE... is bound to crumble.. sooner or later... (ala Bade Pappa n BM) ... so moi thinks.. Jealousy without any ramifications.. after 25 years is hard to digest..!!

Lemme know ur thots SGP-ians.. (in case ur awake reading my post and din get a headache already) 😳

iam speaking from SGP point of view...to make in more clear...

if Alok gets insecure/uncomfortable...its not becos the guy is just a childhood friend...bt a person with whom Rano's marriage was fixed...so now everything lies in Rano's hands...she has to make sure tht she doesnt cross limits which may hurt Alok...only if it hurts Alok he is going to get insecure...

if we take Ishaan-S...we knew there was nothing between them...bt the way they were running arnd...anyone can have doubts...Suhana had it...she thought may be Ishaan cares of S more...

so if Rano does the same...Alok may think himself to be not worthy for Rano...yes they have spend sooo much years together...bt i dont think...matters like this will be thought or discussed by both...

Shwets.. yeah thats a good observation that he is the guy with whom her marriage was fixed... so theres a lil bit of a past history there... ! I hope that Alok doesnt lament his lesser success in life .. n maybe that he culdn provide Rano with more ..what the other guy mite have provided...!! Thats most likely to trigger guilt n insecurity..

this track sounds lame and honestly uncalled for!

if it was for rajni or maybe disha then iwould have said tht ok, its fine! they are still youung...but alok and rano have been together with each other for more than 20 yrs! they should understand each other atleast tht much tht they have trust in their better half.

fine, friends come, some close one but jealousy shouldnt be issue esp when you have been with her/ him for such a long time! merely a week with someone else shouldnt bother you! but i guess its human nature to be jealous! 😆 old relationship esp the marriage with the guy might be the MAIN reason why this friend's company irks alok! cauz the main element is rano here!

[basically i think i jus paraphrased wht you said! 😆, sry]!

@tanu di...totally agreed...Alok may think he has not done anything for Rano becos of his responsibilities...he may feel guilty...

@keenu...i think it will not be the normal kind of jealousy...as i said...it could be insecurity cos he havent given anything for her...now we have to see what Rano does...if she behaves like S...😆 then...😆

i think this track may go this way that as last epi ilesh insults alok by saying he earns more...n may be the new entry is very rich n all...n alok will feel inferior as he may think that that man cud hv given a better future to rano...u kno coz acc 2 tellybuzz deir marriage was fixed in childhood...so i dont think it may be insecurity or nonunderstanding bt maybe jus a inferiority complex sort off only coz of salary part perhaps !!!!!!!

I knw i edited my post i think the main reason tht will bother alok is the fact tht he was the one considered to get married to alok and i guess if hes visiting bak from US they will prolly show him rich and all which will result in Alok feeling unworthy so jealousy [ insecurity] comes in! 😊

yeah...i guess inferiority complex could be the one...cos Alok has himself said he has never given anything to Rano...and if this new guy comes and gives her soo much things and rano feels happy...Alok is definitely going to feel guilty...i dont think this will be the usual jealousy track...and also...its just for 5-6 episodes...so its going to be a comic track...and nothing serious.
