You make a very good point TM.

No offence to the new PaanBha (she's trying, bless her) but the original PaanBha had that special something, you could believe her as a mother to Gulaal, as she was. But the new PaanBha, I see her as evil :/ I can still hear the dialogue ringing in my ears;

"Gulaal ab is ghar main nahin rahegi!!" :/

And you can see her as a vindictive mother in law... not Vasant and Kesar's sweet mother, PaanBha.

Like I said, neither do I have anything against her but this role doesn't suit her... She would've been better off in a drama where she could play the role as a villain, but that wasn't who PaanBha was.

When it comes to changing an actor, it's usually a delicate process where you can hardly tell that they have been replaced... But with this PaanBha, I don't feel that at all... Instead, I keep yelling at the TV for them to bring back the original :(

Agreed. Not only they have changed the actor but they have also changed her character, especially when she asks Gulaal and that was much below any decent standards that Gulaal you hid Dushyant name because she had hots for him?

We could have been convinced that in order to save her marriage, Old PaanBa underwent plastic surgery to look younger and attractive, but when she speaks...

I quite agree with the words in highlighted. She has majestic aura and person with fewer words.

NPB resembles her but does not same charm or aura that old ones has left in our mind. She looks too devilish to replace this angelic woman character. Her expression should have been angry but turn into more vampish. So i am not sure it is her acting fault or fault of her face i.e., a problem with her chassis. Either way she can not live upto image set up by OPB.
