John Abraham averts clash with Shahid Kapoor?

Force release postponed to September 30

It was going to be a clash between the two heartthrobs of the nation, Shahid Kapoor and John Abraham, on September 16. However, it looks like the clash has now been avoided.

Earlier, we had read several times about the release date of Mausam being postponed, thankfully it is not the same case again; this time, the release of Force has been postponed. Both the movies were supposed to release on September 16; however, Force will now be releasing on September 30.

Well, the postponement is justified keeping in mind that John Abraham's previous two movies - 7 Khoon Maaf and Jhootha Hi Sahi, have not managed to gather big bucks at the box office. Moreover, Shahid Kapoor's Mausam has been in the news since the past one year, and the trailer of the movie has already received praise from all quarters.

Interestingly, this is not the first time that the young male brigade of Bollywood -- Imran Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor and John Abraham -- has been ducking clashes with one another! Earlier, Ranbir's Rockstar, Shahid's Mausam and Imran's Mere Brother Ki Dulhan were set to release on the same date, September 9.

But, both Shahid Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor postponed their movie releases to September 16 and November 9 respectively. And now that Shahid and John were to clash on the silver screen, John Abraham and his producers have avoided the clash by postponing the release of Force!

Well, just a hypothetical situation, but what if all the four movies -- Mausam, Force, Rockstar and Mere Brother Ki Dulhan -- were to release together? Which movie would you have watched first? Isn't it hard to decide?? Well, now you know why the postponement is justified!

finally John's movie releasing after a while! Can't wait to see it, I'm excited for MBKD as well!

The ones that still matter:

Actresses: priyanka, kareena, katrina, anushka, deepika, sonam

Actors: salman, shahrukh, amir, ranbir, imran and maybe time will tell also ranveer...

and no duggu's dry spell didn't end with znmd (boring movie)...just like akki he got a hit thanks to the presence of salman's gf (it pains me to admit it)...and ajay as great as singham was also isn't on the list cuz singham just had an awesome script so obviously people will go to a commercial flick with all the masala ingredients.

Poor John...another flop...

Shahid is between te ones that matter and the good for nothing actors...

Priety Zinta, I like how you remain objective despite your disdain for Katrina.😆 I do agree. I think the ones that matter have proved themselves. John and Shahid can avoid each other all they want, at the end of the day the audience will watch the movie that interests them the most irrespective of either of them. After all they don't pull people in anymore, their stardom is lost and has been passed onto the newer generation.

John is such a "yawwwn"...i havent seen more than 3 expressions on his face since the year 2003...How can anyone even think of casting him in surya's role???

Force looks BAD...mausam atleast has more of a chance considering shahids female fan following.

hmmm i don't think we can consider shahid as 'written off' yet cuz i fell asleep during that boring nothing happend KAMINEY...but the movie still became a hit...so the guy does attract audiences. Vivaah the same story sooo boring except for the face burning it was yawn...still a hit

so if it comes to john and shahid i have a feeling people will choose shahid/sonam over john who/genelia who.

The only thing that can save both john and abhishek is turcotte in dostana 2 😆

the guy is actually intelligent!!! he finished his masters in a very short time while poor me is still struggling...

the only thing that i just don't understand:

preity, john, amisha studied sooo why don't they find a job in the field they studied for? why waste your time in bollywood? it's truly sad...

What a stupid post. So i guess Delhi Belly was Imran's hit. Obviously it was his star power that attracted people into the theatres. Not the marketing and the hype that Aamir created.

Hrithik, Ajay and Akki are still stars and they matter enough for producers to invest 50 cr in their various projects.

no but imran's next is with yash raj so he is being casted by the bigwigs...as far as duggu, akki, and ajay: casted by their precious friends: farhan, sajid khan, rohit shetty.
