Sneha's entry into Mansukhlal Shah's family, as the new daughter-in-law, has brought with it, winds of change in the Shah household. Things get out of hand, when Sneha refuses to be a part of Mansukhlal's book release function.
Sneha's beliefs lead her not only to question Mansukhlal, but also evoke reasoning amongst the women in the family. To safeguard the peace, Dayaben has no choice but to intervene and talk to Sneha.
She tries to explain to Sneha the merit in keeping quiet and to simply follow the rules set by Mansukhlal like the others in the house. Dayaben then throws a challenge to Sneha.
She says that within two months, Sneha will see their point of view and become like them. However, if this does not happen she tells Sneha that the daughters-in-law and herself will do whatever Sneha says.
