👏👏👏👏
A big thank you to NAVYA'S CV, director, producer, actors and to Star Plus. Friday's was one of the best episode of this simple love story, in my opinion. Many have written already on the Friday act, but I wanted to open a new topic to thank the CVs and the director for such a beautiful piece of 15 minutes act they have written and directed.
The main highlights:
1. The mother and daughter discovery/ confession/ revelation -
In my previous forum I had mentioned about my "wishful thinking" - wishing Navya would have confided on her mother as her best friend - and was so... glad that my wishes were fulfilled. I applaud the CVs for finally making Navya decide "enough is enough", and that she must confess to her mother about her secret relation (must admit that I was a bit sceptic, when Anant was insisting that it was not the right time , hats off to Navya for taking the bold /right step).
I admired the words that Navya told Anant before leaving his house - that she must talk to her mother, or later she will not be able to face her ownself (thank you - that's what I call a good and healthy upbringing). I am glad that Navya did put her foot down this time- because as mentioned by many members -Anant is at times childish and when the crisis comes to face his family he panics (which is quite natural for a 19 yr old boy) - and it was simply dangerous to have left Navya on the terrace all by herself to face the entire army of his family and escape !!!!!!!!!! (yes, we understand Anant loves Navya, but there is a but... he is still a boy, not enough matured to realise the consequences).
It was a perfect time that Navya decided to tell her mother on the mobile, that she had something to tell her too (intuition had sensed both the mother and daughter's nerves THAT THE TIME HAS COME), other wise it would have been worse - because Meeta had already found the birthday card, and later seen Anant on the web cam (Navya was almost caught red handed).
I am glad that the CVs plot was a dignified one, and they were sensitive in understanding the reality - Navya's family is a healthy family, a good example of a happily married modern/traditional couple who love their children and parents and wishes to give and teach the best to their children and sacrifice for their happiness . The parents are strict for they have to guide their children and show them what is right, and again they donot leave any stones unturned to share the joy, happiness and sorrows of their children - this is what is missing in Anant's family. Navya is so fortunate to have such a wonderful family, where she can breathe freely. I hope in the future someday when Anant will be welcomed in Navya's family , he will understand why Navya is who she is.
Yes, it is only natural for Navya'a mother to react to this discovery (A mother sees her child as a part of her. You train the child as if it were yourself, and you trust the child as you trust yourself) - so when this trust breaks, then a mother feels that she has betrayed her own self, and has no-one to blame for it.😭😭- she then starts to question her own self, did she do a good job in raising her child- she looses trust in herself . In the modern world parents understand the challenges faced by their children and try to be frank, understanding and communicate with their children to be more closer to the, and reduce the generation gap.
Meeta's findings, and waiting to hear Navya's revelation - was marvelously portrayed by Meeta. What an expression of her inner turmoil and feelings (My mother was watching with me, and I saw tears flowing down her cheek - guess she understood Meeta's untold words) Meeta- cheers for such a wonderful act 👏👏👏, and as a daughter - I understood Navya's guilt and the shortcomings of not having confided whole heartedly on her mother- the entire seen was absolutely mind blowing and heart wrenching 👏👏👏👏 I was having goose bumps !!!!!!!! The precap - showing the act between Meeta and Navya is something I am longing to watch on Monday.
Meeta as a mother will have to go through her own inner turmoil, then listen to her daughter's story, and then will have to handle the situation with her husband, mother-in-law and her son... rightly said: "A woman can make and break a household".
Many households from the middle class are going through similar turmoil of parent-child relation - Frriday's and the coming episode I hope will give some message and answers to the viewers - It sure is NEW CONCEPT AND NEW THOUGHT shown on Star Plus.
2. Rama's exposure to Mohan:
I am so glad that Mohan has come to know the details of Rama's plan of exposing Anant. I hope and wish that the EVIL IS EXPOSED AND THE END OF THE EVIL WILL TAKE PLACE SOON. In most of the serials, we see that evil overpowers the good and the evil benefits more . In Navya, if the evil ends here - this will also be a NEW THOUGHT - different than all the traditional serials - where there is no end to evil deeds. I hope and pray that Mohan through his patience, understanding and love can influence Rama from changing her revengeful attitude to one of being a lovable person - because she has such a wonderful husband, MIL and BIL. Mohan's expression and acting was also superb 👏👏👏
3. Ranvir's friendship:
The quality of friendship shown in NAVYA, is also something to admire. "A friend in need, is a friend indeed". Ranvir's simple and yet so important move to inform Anant of the family visiting the terrace saved Navya / Anant from serious trouble. What a friend Ranvir, and what a wonderful acting.👏👏👏
4. Taking advantage of technology:
Another wonderful act, was taking advantage of the digital social media and showing Navya/ Anant's communication via the web cam.👏👏👏
Bravo, cheers and salute for gifting the audience with such a wonderful episode.

Another wonderful post 😊

I feel if Anant had not escaped, then it could have become disastrous. The way udi baba, papa, bua dadi were staring at Navya standing alone, just imagine, what could have happened if they had seen Anant & Navya together 😳
Before leaving, Anant did help Navya by saying to tell his family members that she came to terrace with bhabhi...So IMO his decision to escape was right...

Rest of the points, i totally agree with u 😊

Yeah u r right, CVs, Director have a done a great job and i wish they continue to give us beautiful episodes 👍🏼

U said it right...Navya made the right decision on right time...Her sub concious mind, as a result of the shocker she faced in the terrace gave the courage and prompted her in making the decision to speak with her mother...

Disagree with u regarding Anant...Anant did it right by jumping from the terrace leaving Navya alone...Otherwise things would've taken a worst turn...He showed the immaturity by listening to his bhabhi's words but did a matured move risking himself by jumping down from the terrace...Bajpai family will never forgive AnYa and accept Navya as a bahu if they were caught together...That was what Rama planned...
Agree with the rest of ur points...Lets see how CVs will handle Meeta maa's track...Hope they will definitely stick to the nayi soch...

Excellent analysis skydome (shilpa, isnt it?)...I loved the way you described meeta's current position...you seem to have understood the pov of mothers everywhere...🤗 :

A mother sees her child as a part of her. You train the child as if it were yourself, and you trust the child as you trust yourself) - so when this trust breaks, then a mother feels that she has betrayed her own self, and has no-one to blame for it.- she then starts to question her own self, did she do a good job in raising her child- she looses trust in herself .

👏

I hope meeta comes to realise in time that navya makes her own decisions and gives her the freedom to make her own choices/mistakes...No doubt this'll happen at some point but I think we'll all need our hankies for the upcoming episodes...😭

I have a different opinion regarding the CV's decision to let navya decide to tell her mom everything and meeta coming to know thru the card/webcam anyway (that too on the very same day)...I wish they had chosen 1 route or the other...Meeta is feeling betrayed either way...What difference does it make now if navya swears she was going to tell her anyway?... IMO, they've made navya an ultra-goody and morally-upstanding heroine ... She's such a sweetheart I cant dislike her even if I tried 😡 😈 😆...She's like a bridge over troubled waters wherever she goes, whether its with her daadi/mohan/renuka/etc...In addition, she's a longsuffering girlfriend...Very Heroiney but hardly real...the only thing that's missing now is her halo and wings ...I know this opinion will hardly be popular but I think real people cannot be all good or all bad but have areas of weaknesses and strengths...whether its Navya or Rama!!!

Nice post :-)
Navya definitely has a more "normal" family than poor Anant!
I agree with Nisha (navyaalex8)'s comment below

I have this nagging feeling that Anant's madcap family has been specifically set up so that Navya comes and "rectifies" the situation - I can see her already as the perfect bahu/wife/sil - helping Mohan, dealing with Rama, respectful to elders, she might even bridge the gap between chachaji and udi, make Anant's angry papa all smiling, cooking for the entire household, doing tulsi puja everyday, singing bhajans plus romancing with hubby with perfectly coiffured hair, ever-smiling, never-complaining, ever-sacrificing ... uff, can't they make these serial heroines and vamps more normal?
Sorry for the rant :-)

Hello Shilpa, not seen u around for some time. Beautiful ananlysis , of the show so far, with wonderful personal veiws added.
U have managed to put in words what we have all fealt while watching the episode. Meeta had always excelled in the limited role she had. But glad to see her give such power packed performance when it really mattered.
Dont know whats the future story line, but so far we r glued to the televisions sets and the forum.
I would definately like to thank the cv;s for keeping me hooked to the show and helping me make wonderful friends in the forum. 😊
In the end its just another indian television serial.

I too think that last Friday's was one of the best epi shown so far, No doubt it was full of tension but nevertheless...

Earlier i use to think that Anant leaving Navya alone was not the right thing but really what else could he have done. They could not hide anywhere nor could he take her on his spiderman jaunt. He saved her by telling her what to say and that was the best thing to do in that situation. CV's truly did a good job albeit in a different way

Seeing Meeta's dejection and hurt was heart breaking. A mother always considers a daughter as her bf and she had doubts earlier but was assured by her older daughter that all is well. Can you imagine what must be going thru her mind not only were all my fears, doubts true but both my daughters deceived me. CV"s portrayed the emotions very nicely and brought about a mothers feeling. Nicely done

I do not want to think what Mohan must be going thru. Obedient son, following all wishes and to be stuck in this relationship. Way to go CV's

Overall one lovely epi. So much shown in those 20 mins

Thank you, all for your views and nice comments.

I agree with all of you that Anant had no choice but jump from the terrace. On Monday (I guess) there will be a heart to heart talk with the mother and child in which perhaps Navya's state of mind will be:
" I have spread my dreams under your feet, please tread softly for you tread on my dreams"
and the mother's state of mind - only time will tell.

Hey Shilpa🤗..seen you after a long time...loved you post and analysis..you said it all..
I also agree with Nisha..that every person hs its weeknesses and strength...and navya portrayed it to a extenet, i would say..she got weak as a girlfriend for sometime and tried to hide stuff and lie..but then she got strong again...
I know CV's have shown both the roads in the same epi..but i still liked it..becuse Navya told Meeta she wants to talk abt somthing ..withpout her knowing that Meeta already has a card..or meeta has again got a suspicion..it was the guilt of lying again and always tryign to guess her mother's tone..that was affecting navya and hence navya decided by herself to talk to navya..so that was well depicted...
I loved Meeta to the core... when Meeta opens the door for Navya..her face looked so calm but stern at that point..she was controlling all her anxiety, anger, disppointment...under her calm face..if she wanted she could have questioned navya rgt at the door...but even after getting the card she wanted to hear her daughter first., she wanted to give 1 more chance to Navya and herself to come up with the truth...I just loved that scene...her silence was so effective in painful..it did hurt me...it did make me cry too...Mom's have so much patience..they can endure so much within them..we might never even understand...Kshitee jog..had emoted the turmoil of a mother so beautifully..hats off to her👏...
Cv's👏 have done a gret job till now...they have kept us attached to this story till now..and gave us some brilliant momments...I dont know what CV's have in store for us...but i am waiitng to see how well they can represnt this mother-daughter relation in this situation now.I know its going to be very emotional and as nisha said..i'll surely have to get my hankies back.( because i just cant see Meeta and navya cry..this coming epis are gng to be very emotional)...
.i just hope they come up with some NAYI soch ..which is close to reality...
lovely post Shilpa...

A fantastic post, Shilpa.
Agree with you mostly, but feel that Anant was right in leaving Navya , but not before disclosing what to say. That just shows , he did not leave her in the lurch.
Mita's anguish can be felt by one and all. Those eyes definitely spoke volumes.yes, her pain is manifold, coz, she feels betrayed by a part of her being - her own flesh and blood, her child. I wish things hadn 't taken such a drastic turn. Agree with Nisha, that Navya should have confided in her mom ages ago, and the CVs could have portrayed her as a normal teen with some shortcomings, and hence could have shown the revelation or the confession , either one of the options..
Mohan's expressions were fabulous, as the husband who had been taken for a ride, by none other than his own wife.
The CVs did treat us to an excellent epi with lots of peaks and valleys ..
