“Everybody suffers in extra-marital relat

Stepping beyond the parameters of your marriage is recipe for doom and in this situation everybody suffers - that's what director Vikram Bhatt wants to say through his forthcoming film 'Ankahee'.
'Ankahee' is reportedly based on Vikram Bhatt's real life story and the turmoil he faced as a result of his extra-marital relationship with Sushmita Sen and the subsequent spat with his ex-wife.
In 'Ankahee', Aftab Shivdasani plays Vikram's role, who is, however, a doctor in the film, not a director. Aamisha Patel plays Aftab's wife and Esha plays the second woman.
"Ankahee' is a vehicle to express my emotions," said Vikram, however "it's not my story in totality," he clarified subsequently.
"I had this burning desire to make a film on what I went through. But there was no story to tell," he added.
'Ankahee' is scheduled to release on this Friday.
