Navya claims: "For me, friendship is a gift of God which needs to be preserved. People don't last but their friendship always lasts forever. I feel Dil Chahta Hai is a perfect movie to watch on this day. For me, life is empty without friends and I am happy that God has given me friends like Appy, Ritz who have always supported me."

Soumya says: "For me, my best friend is my mother who is always there for me. My friends always do favours without asking and apart from my mom, my best friends are Shweta, Bugs and Ekta. I have always troubled them by keeping them waiting. But on friendship day, I am missing them a lot. One memory which I cherish is that my friends took me to Crossword to read books as they know I don't like to read. They bunked lectures which completely surprised me. In school we used tie bands and satin ribbon on wrists, or write our names on their hands, or if not then on uniforms- which used to be great fun."
