@Nur, Anjali - Well pointed out you both. Following from that conversation when Kesar confronts her about why she must be the only one chasing everyone's dreams and happiness - when Gulaal replied that the house meant everything to her, I remember us having that discussion over how she would have to see that even beyond the house was Kesar. Not that she's lying or delusional about her devotion to the house and the family - but Kesar is her reason above and beyond, despite neither of them realizing! With this current scenario of opposition from the entire family and her time out with Kesar alone, I suppose we're in to witness that change in Gulaal. The way, once upon a time everything in the house, and all her identity and bonding there was through Vasant, because of Vasant, and he was first and foremost for her - Kesar will now be. Simply because Kesar has unbeknownst to her, and despite all her long term resistance to it, slipped into the position of the man in her life...
The way she fell against him, and held onto him like her last thread of bond with the family - it was symbolic of how everything for Gulaal (for a while now) completes its full circle with him ... the stage is set for her to be able to exclusively and objectively understand Kesar's place in the whole set up of her life... not because he's siding with her, but because he truly has become that anchor in her life, which a man should be.
@Nur - yes, the champa scene totally looks in tune with SRK-ism đ His expressions are so cute in that clip âşď¸ I can hardly wait for the GK exclusives, knowing the writers always know how to cut an edge even in ro-maaan-ce! đ SRK and Minnie can be quite the couple đ
