Preeto sees Bani pleading with a man. When the man walks away, Preeto runs into Bani and asks her who the man was. Bani lies and says that he was from her college. Preeto asks bani why she was pleading in front of him and Bani denies it at first but then lies and says it was because she had skipped so many days from college so she was promising him that she wasn't going to miss any days. Preeto asks her if that is the truth and Bani nods. Preeto tells bani she will drop her to college but Bani lies again and says that one of the college trustees passed away so the college is closed for today. Preeto tells her to head home then because it looks like it's going to rain.
Bani heads home and Preeto heads to Jassi's place. She reaches there and Jogi thanks her for coming soon as Rajbeer is waiting for her and his clothes. Preeto rushes upstairs and knocks on Rajbeer's room door. He asks her to come in. Before he can say anything Preeto walks in to see Rajbeer and tells him that before he misunderstands she wants to let him know that she had to put some of Jassi's valuables away and she forgot and took the key by mistake. He tells her she starts her tasks with a mistake and ends it with a mistake. Preeto tells him that not speak too much nonsense and says humans make mistakes and it is not polite to rub people's face in their mistakes. Rajbeer says he made a mistake by saying anything and asks her to give him the key.
Preeto searches through her bag and realizes that she left the key at home. Rajbeer gets angry and tells her she is intentionally harassing him and giving him hell. Preeto tells him to mind his tongue and tells him he will get his key. She calls home and talks to Bani and tells her to bring the key. Preeto gets off the phone and tells Rajbeer his sister is bringing the key and she will be here soon.
She tells Rajbeer that in the mean time she's going to go check on Jassi. She leaves and goes to Jassi's room. Jassi is getting ready and looking beautiful. Preeto compliments Jassi and Jassi gives Preeto the credit for looking good. Preeto modestly denies it and says that it is because of Jassi's beauty and says that Jassi looks beautiful because she is beautiful. Jassi asks her to help with he bangles and Preeto helps her. Jassi's mom comes too and asks if Jassi is ready yet. Jassi says in a few minutes. Jassi's mom compliments her and asks Preeto to help with her jewelry as well.
Bani comes and greets Preeto. Preeto introduces Bani and asks her if she brought the key. Bani says yes then eyes all the jewelry lying on the bed. One of the aunties comes and calls them to come down. Jassi's mom takes Jassi and goes down as Preeto takes the key from Bani and heads to Rajbeer to give him his clothes. Halfway down Jassi's mom realizes she forgot Jogi's ring in the room, and goes back to get it.
Preeto is in Rajbeer's room, and she takes out the clothes from the closet and hands it to Rajbeer and tells him that he doesn't have to thank her as she was doing her duty. Rajbeer says that she should be apologizing and he shouldn't be thanking her. Before they can argue, Preeto and Rajbeer hear Jassi's mom yelling for everyone as Jogi's ring has gone missing. Preeto and Rajbeer rush down with the others and Jassi's mom says Jogi's ring was stolen. One of the men says that it must be lost but Jassi's mom says she looked everywhere.
Geeta Aunty asks Jassi's mom who was in the room and Jassi's mom thinks and says that Preeto left last. Preeto says she was in the room but she didn't take the ring. She says Jassi and her mom were in there too. Jassi's mom says that she doesn't remember but she knows Preeto left last for sure. Everyone looks at Preeto as she shakes her head. Jogi says that if Preeto says she didn't take she must not have but one of the aunts says she knows girls like Preeto and asks her where her bag is. Preeto says it's upstairs. She drags Preeto upstairs and the other ladies follow. Rajbeer, Dhruv and Jogi remain down with Jassi.
Preeto gives the Aunty her bag and the Aunty searches it turning everything upside down. She then searches Preeto and asks her where the ring is. Preeto holds her arms around her as the Aunty looks all over Preeto. Geeta Aunty tells the other Aunty to let Preeto to go but she doesn't listen and says she knows Preeto stole the ring and knows that she must have hidden it somewhere. She drags Preeto out again, as Preeto continues to claim that she is innocent. The Aunty takes Preeto down. Rajbeer and Dhruv exchange looks and the Aunty says that Preeto won't listen like that. Preeto stands looking down her arms crossed in front of her as the Aunty says that they should call the police. Preeto is upset hearing that.
Dhruv tells the Aunty if she's already searched Preeto then what is the need to call the police. The grandfather speaks up and tells Dhruv that when elders are talking not to speak. Dhruv looks like he's about to protest but Rajbeer indicates Dhruv to keep it quiet. The grandfather says the honor of the house isn't greater than some ring and this is a house of marriage and the matter of the house will remain in the house. He tells to let Preeto go. Geeta Aunty says this is right and takes Preeto. Rajbeer watches lost in thought. One of the ladies brings Preeto's bag and Preeto grabs it and holds it close. Geeta Aunty tells Preeto she will settle the accounts with her tomorrow. Preeto asks Geeta Aunty if she too believes that she is a thief, and Geeta Aunty consoles Preeto and says she doesn't but she has no say in the matter. She tells Preeto to go home.
At home Kanwal is talking to her brother on the phone when Preeto comes in. Kanwal asks Ishu to get the door. Ishu is surprised to see Preeto and asks her if she forgot something else. Preeto mentally says that she forgot her place and the thinking of rich people. That is why she's suffered for forgetting what her place is. Ishu asks Preeto why she's so quiet and asks her if work finished early. Preeto nods and says that her work was done early and so she came home. Ishu asks and says that the function must be all day so how come she was done early. Preeto says her work was done early. Ishu notices something is off but doesn't pursue then asks Preeto if she's cried. Preeto says that it's because she was driving fast and the wind was in her eyes.
Kanwal sees Preeto and asks her to talk to her uncle and Preeto talks for a few seconds to be polite then hangs up. Kanwal asks her what the matter is and Preeto says she wasn't feeling well so she came home early. Ishu is surprised that Preeto said something else at the door. Kanwal tells her to take rest and Preeto goes up. Kanwal asks if Preeto is okay since she had a headache the day before and today too she's is unwell. Ishu asks her mom to let the matter be for now as Preeto looks tired.

Ishu walks up and stands next to Preeto and puts her hand on her head, and says maybe it was the wind and maybe it was something in her eyes. She says that the one person who wipes away other's tears is trying to hide her own. She asks Preeto if her family is not worthy enough to share her troubles with. Preeto embraces Ishu and cries bitterly. Ishu comforts her sister and asks her what happened. Preeto cries and tells Ishu that they removed her from the job.
Ishu asks Preeto what happened and why. She asks Preeto if she made some mistake and Preeto said she made the mistake of taking the job in the first place. She said she forgot how rich people think. She says that they accused her of stealing and narrates everything to Ishu. Ishu gets upset and tells Preeto to come with her. She says she will talk to them. She says they're from a respectable family and will not take this sitting down. Preeto pleads with Ishu that they won't listen but Ishu insists. Preeto says that if they go the matter will go out of hand and if Kanwal and Gagan find out both of them will be hurt and she doesn't want to hurt her parents.
Ishu says she will listen to Preeto but she doesn't want Preeto to cry about the matter. She says she's seen Preeto fight for the honor and respect of this house and she will not tolerate tears in Preeto's eyes. She wipes Preeto's tears and embraces her.
