Uttara and Brahma consummated, now what?

Okay so it is clear from today's episode, that the dreaded inevitable has happened. Uttara slept with brahma. Where do you all think the story ought to go from here? Uttara is clearly besotted by Brahma, or shall I say, the idea of Brahma. It was difficult to convince her otherwise. Now that she has slept with him, it would be next to impossible.

Are they now married - thats my question coz of what he did, he did put sindoor on her didnt he? i skipped that bit, i couldnt watch it lol

It cant be a real marriage because he already is married. I think they should make her pregnant. That would be a good twist and the ssp not accepting the baby and refuses everything. I just cant feel bad for her because for women like that they deserve the worst.

And why is priya and adityas married just based on romance they have no understanding.

Uttara showed - maryaada - aakhir khab tak. She stepped out of it today.

Completely agree with carisma above...dunno what uttara was thinking...she has a daughter and having affair with sisters' hubby...gross...

I was very keen in this show, but slowly found it to be quite shallow. I have stopped watching this show long back. Just found recent discussions about uttara and brahma and just saw today's episode after like ages..

I am sorry apriori, if I sound harsh. But why is it that everyone is blamming Uttara. She has stepped out of her maryada etc., Why ? It is actually Brahma that stepped out. And the next to be blamed is Devyani. Agreed she wanted Maryada, wanted to take in all the injustice and bear it within herself.

But what about her sister. Does she not have any duty towards her sister ? Why did she allow her to be pushed to the pit ? She knows everything. Still why did she not let her know of the simple thing that she is getting deceived by Brahma ?

Today when I see Uttara accounting all her childhood uneasinesses and her marriage sufferings to Brahma, my heart really went out to her. She is opening herself out to Brahma as though he is someone that special that can hear out most of her inner secrets. She is in the opinion that, she finally is having somebody who is listening to her heart out. She was pouring herself out there..

But what is happening actually. Yes, She is not raped physically. But this is actually going to be a mental rape. Her vulnerability and her sufferings everythings have been made use of. Brahma is the person who used it and Devyani is the person who did not stop it.


Somehow, I see this indian psycology. It is woman to be blamed first. For any thing, she would be the one to be blamed. I am again sorry, if I offended someone.. And again, these are the opinions formed on just seeing todays episode. I almost have not seen any episode after Rishab's death..

@kvva...I don't think blaming Uttara in this situation has anything to do with the Indian mentality. Devyani is a victim too. The verbal abuse she has suffered at Brahma's hands for two decades has made her this way. This is not about blaming the "woman" first...here Uttara is aware that the person she is dreaming about is her brother in law. Of course Brahma is not going to stop...he is a predator. From Uttara's standpoint, it makes no sense. If she can defend Brahma to Priya, it is highly inconsistent from a writing standpoint to show her believe all the fabrications about Devyani.

Uttara was not vulnerable or innocent when she killed rishab but now she is innocent girl that we should feel sorry for. If she can end her physical abuse then why cant she see that sleeping with a married man is morally wrong. And no one forced her to do it with ssp she did it herself. So if any guy comes and complains about his wife not caring for him she will go and sleep with the guy. Uttara is wrong here. They are thousands of men outside that she could go and fall in love ad find a companion in but with a married man is sick. And yes we also blame ssp coz he is disgusting and should not engage in extra marital affair. But uttara is not innocent. And devyani was always there for her did she even once think abt her sis, no she was only thinking about her own lust. And how much more does she expect from devyani to do for her become her counselor if she needs someone to talk to about her past then she can get professional help. she should have slapped ssp the first day he said he liked her and is falling for her and then left their home. But no she stayed and carried the affair on so how can we feel sorry for her. I would think that a woman who will kill someone to end abuse then they can know the difference between right or wrong and whether it is right to sleep with a married man a man who is your elder sisters husband.
