Naina, weeps with her head resting on the steering wheel, and regrets the ill tempered words she uttered against Daksh. She parks her car in front of the gate, of Ms Sharma's house, and ponders on her next moves, as she has not yet found the whereabouts of Daksh. From far, she hears the children playing and then realizes that Daksh too is playing with them, and then in a fit of temper, she comes in, and gets out of the car, and saunters towards Daksh, who is playing a game with the small children, and is very happy. Straight away, Naina picks up a quarrel with Daksh, and accuses him, for leaving her without telling her. He pretends not to know where she had gone, and asks her where she had gone out in the bad weather. She lets him have an earful, and tells him, that she had gone hunting high and low, to find out where he might have got lost. She scanned every nook and corner and found him nowhere, and now she is tired and very hurt, and her face shows her emotion ebbing high and low, and words she utters have no sense, but give the appearance, that she is very hurt, and finds him very insensitive towards her. He tries to give her a patient ear, but every time he tries to explain, Naina has one more question, and she will not stop, till she has had her say. The children continue playing around, and Ms Sharma, comes with coffee and milk, for them, and tries to make light of the situation, with her joking and jovial talk. She wants Naina to loosen up, but she is so tense, she does not see any thing making sense to her. Finally, she lets her on her secret, and tells them, that it was her plan to send Daksh away, so that she could jolt Naina, into realizing what a mistake she was making in not admitting her love for him. The scene becomes very emotional, and the two love birds, come closer by the minute, and ultimately, melt in each others arms, and Naina starts to sob, and tell him, that she will never let him go from her, and the words which all had been waiting for ages, comes out of her and she tells Daksh she loves him. She regrets that she did not do it before. She tells him, that she always felt that she was missing something. When she agreed to marry Abhi, she never felt happy, nor was she at peace, as she felt that she was doing something wrong. She did not like Daksh going ahead with his engagement with Sonakshi, but she put up a brave face. Now she knows that all that was a defensive action, to bury her head in the sand. Now she will not allow herself to do such a mistake. Daksh too vows to her his everlasting love. As the day comes to an end, Daksh and Naina have not even thought of going back to Mumbai, and he has truly put everything on the back burner.
In Mumbai, Kaka is very upset, with his wife over the situation Akruiti has put them in. Shyamal is sitting down, in a daze, and her husband is walking up and down, like a tiger waiting to devour his prey. He wants to strangle his daugher, but knowing his temper and volatile nature, his brother calms him down, and asks him to be patient. Sanket too tries to cool him down, but he is feeling insulted, as the black spot that his daughter has smeared his face with, is unbearable to his personal pride. When everyone wants to talk to Akruti, her mother stands up, and like a protective hen, tells all of them to back off, and she walks up to the bedroom. Akruti is in her own agony, and her mother wants to know how it all happened Shyamal is shown reading a report, which she lets down from her hand, and it falls on the floor and she slumps on the bed, and Akruti begs her to say something, as she finds that she has gone into a daze. When her mother tells her that she will speak to the boy and his parents, her daughter finally lets her know, that, he is not interested in marrying her, and then she strokes her own forehead in despair, and tells her that she has shamed herself and her family, and she her mother, who trusted her so much, has now to face this humiliation.
