Monday 1/8/11 Archives ' Copy

Raani's house - Call from the police station asking the whole family to mark attendance . Sarroojja frets but gets dragged by the rest. Odaiyaathaa, Odaiyaathaa...Sarrojja kuttu Odaiyatha , Engalukku nimmathi kidaikkathaa - Roja sings out loud. MM MM's palace.
Archu is crying - ably assisted by Bhanu and house owner lady. MM MM is counting money - baby ai thriumbi vaanga. He gets a call " come with the money to such and such a shopping center. rest later " Police maama vanthu kOdaiyaraar but MM MM lies and dispenses him. Police maama asks his constables to watch MM MM - " I will get a task force ready and we can nab the kidnappers "

Raani and jing bang reach the police station. Aakash appa romba gushiya " enga panam kidaichachaa??" Inspector says that it is the other way " Unga payyan adicha pananthai thiruppi kudunga " The jing bang says that their son is 24 carat gold. Well, that gold comes out from the lock-up. Matter enna nna, Aakash goes with a friend who dupes him saying that it is canvassing for cell phone towers. They collect from 20 people - total sum 5 lakhs - friend scoots and Aakash is caught by those who got cheated royally. "panathai Enni vai, illatta kambi counting thaan " Raani promises to arrange for the money - Sarrojja is happy that she escaped once again. Raani decides to pledge all her gold.

MM MM and Archu - at the shopping complex - he is ordered to board the elevator . press floor 3, keep the money in a corner and get out at floor 2 " when the lift comes down, the money will be gone and you will see your pappa " The couple are watched - must be the police constables. Well, the lift goes up to floor 3 and comes down ...floor 2 ... opens...no paappa ...MM MM and Archu are devastated

Update for Tues, Aug 2, 2011:

Selvam and Archana see the elevator come down after going to the 3rd floor, and the money is still there. They are puzzled, then they get a call from the guy, saying that he has brought the police with him. Selvam denies this, then the caller tells them that the two guys in one corner and the other two guys in two other corners on that floor are police in mufti. Selvam tries to explain, but the guy says that he is going to send the baby in bits in a parcel to Archu's parents' home. Selvam and Archana head home.

Rani and family at the police station. Rani has pawned all her jewelry to get the cash to free Akash, and the Inspector tells Akash not to take up any job in future without first checking up to see if the job is a genuine one. Rani wants to know what happened to their money, Saroja gets worried, but the Inspector says that he is new and will take two weeks to go into all the old records. She is relieved. She tells Akash that she wanted to give her jewelry also, but Rani said it wasn't necessary and she would do this for her husband. Rani's MIL praises Rani, FIL is silent, and Akash is thoughtful.

Selvam and Archana go to Archu's home, everyone is moping over there, and Priya comes running out, asking what happened to the baby? They go inside, and Selvam asks if there has been any parcel. Priya faints on learning that they didn't get the baby, and they hear a dog barking outside. There is a large parcel there (and what happened to the police who were tailing Selvam earlier? Didn't they see the guy who left the parcel there?). Selvam opens the box, everyone has this worried look on their faces. He takes out some clothes, then some more clothes, then something which looks bloodstained, then more clothes, then gets to the bottom of the box and brings out a - doll! (why make us go through all this nerve racking suspense? Do the director and crew seriously think we enjoy this?)

They go inside and show Priya the doll, and Selvam gets another call - See, this is what happens when you don't do as I say.

Police station - box on table - Archana scolds the Inspector, saying we just want the baby back, you leave us alone. The Inspector says that Dheena has money, but do you have the money? Selvam realizes that it is someone who knows he has money now. Dheena thinks this may be RS's work, his revenge on Dheena.for not producing the proper CD in court, which got Selvam acquitted, and Selvam agrees, he tells the Inspector about RS cheating him out of his property and Reva getting her father to pay back Selvam. The Inspector takes Selvam and Archana to go and question RS.

Update for Thurs, Aug 4, 2011:

Rani has changed into her uniform and goes into the Manager's office. She asks about the absence of the others, and is told that they have left early. Next, the Manager tries to attack her, says that her changing into the uniform has been recorded and he is going to put it up on the Internet, Rani tries to run, he chases her, she runs, he chases. In the meantime, Vinodh has come there to meet the manager, the watchman tells him that the manager has left, but just when he goes and sits on his bike, he gets a call from someone. Rani sees him talking on the phone, tries to attract his attention, the manager says she cannot be seen or heard from outside, so she manages to break the window and screams out for Vinodh mama to save her. Vinodh hears his name, comes inside after pushing the watchman out of his way, and sees the Manager attacking her, takes out his belt and gives the guy a good walloping ( now this was something I thoroughly approved of, even though I normally abhor this kind of physical violence), and wants to report him to the police, even though Rani is against it, because her inlaws do not know about her coming here for a job.

Selvam goes to his shed, a customer is leaving, disgusted. Selvam finds out that Nandini sent him away and asked him to come after four days. He scolds Nandini for sending away a customer, and then finds that she has allowed Vasu to come and sit down. He wants Vasu to leave, but Nandini asks him to listen to Vasu, who claims to have come to help Selvam find the baby (I don't believe this liar one bit), because he knows all the thirudans and baby kidnappers in town, thanks to his association with his FIL. Selvam is still reluctant to take Vasu's help, but Nandini urges him to do so.

Vinodh tells Rani that the Inspector, who is a friend of his, has booked the Manager on some other charge. She thanks him and tells him the circumstances leading to her looking for a job. Vinodh tells her about Priya's baby getting kidnapped, and then tells her about a job in his company.

Vasu and Selvam driving around. They go to some apartment complex and go to some guy, whose team kidnaps older people, not babies (kaNNraavi!) and he tells them to go and see some guy called Perambur Ravi. (I am fairly sure Vasu is taking Selvam on a wild goose chase!). Vasu takes Selvam to go and see this new guy.

Friday Update

Part1

vasu and selvam go to meet some Rowdies. vasu introduces himself as Rajasekar mapillai.The rowdy has more hair than me. They keep walking and walking and walking .Almost all rowdies have long hair.Earn panra kaasu shampoo vangave pathathu pola. The head says that he don't know who is Vasu. They think they are police and tries to catch them.Vasu again gives introduction. Rowdy understand who he is .Vasu tells that they here to get help for his brother. At the same time some allakai comes and informs that sate has come.He cries saying not to do anything to his son.Selvam gives a blank look at Vasu. Rowdy confirms that they have given right amount and scolds him for going to police first time. Inside house oru payan jolliya chutti tv pathu kittu irukkan.I think he is very happy amma appa control illama nimatheya tv parthittu irukkan.One of the Rowdy picks him and drop him to setu.Boy and family hug each other.Tells them no need to do pasa malai here and advices not to keep anything with him.Again Selvam looks at Vasu and he acts like its ok annan .Vasu and selvam goto Rowdy and inform him about kidnap of baby. The Rowdy says generally they don't kidnap babies because its too much maintenance.And tells them it should be some group.He tells them he will enquire and ask them to leave.MM has a worried look and ask if baby will be safe.The Rowdy says since they demanded for money their main aim is money so we can somehow find the baby.Our Oscar actor Vasu tells him to find the baby soon.Eva muliya sari illa.I really doubt him.Rowdy tells that some new person has done and mentions about Ganesan who would have done this and ask them to leave.Vasu says bye to rowdies and they both come out.

Part2

Rani's SIL walking with baby .Goes to juice shop and orders juice without ice.She hears somebody selling tea and tells to herself that it looks like her husband voice.Her husband is actually selling tea in cycle.He sees her and get so scared that she might get angry .He goes and hides inside the shop.Rani's SIL search for him.In the meantime somebody comes and ask them to remove the tea cycle standing in front of shop.Unable to bear the bike man shouting he goes to get the cycle and Saroja catches him and ask about selling tea.Her husband informs her that the shop licence expired 2 years back and hence corporation removed the shop.She scolds him left and right(sorry I cannot update the whole conversation)Finally he asks her if she can give him some more money he can become rich again.She gets angry and walk away.MM and Vasu get down from car.Vasu confirms Selvam that they will get the baby. And thanks for him giving an opportunity to help him.Archana see this paasa mala and gets angry.

Part3

MM runs inside home to convince Archu.Sees Rani is there and tells her that he was talking to Vasu thats why Archu is angry.Well he re-cycles part 1 story.He confirms that he will not have any relationship with this family.Rani also convinces Archu and leaves the place.He again promises her that he will not do anything she doesn't like.Then she lies down on him and ask about the baby.And goes and lights the lamp. She olarifies something about God .All IF'ans kai eduthu saami kumbidunga intha serial mudiyanumnu.Night time Vasu get down from the auto. And his friends and talk to each other.Then they and meet a paati.Looks like he kidnapped the baby and looks at baby. He enquires the paati why the baby looks so thin.The paati says baby is used to drink mommy milk so now since she is giving bottle milk its refusing. She enquires about money. She tells him not to cheat her because she is old.Vasu says once money reaches his hand he will give her share.His friends ask him why he didn't pick up money from elevator and give the baby back.Vasu says police were around him.They would have caught him. He confirms them that they all will get money and goes to call selvam.
Panathai enga theduveen panathai enge theduven...

Archu and MM MM - Ore sOgam - hunger strike is on. Pappa kidaichaa thaan sAappadu !!!
Bhanu brings food and asks both to eat . Just then MM MM gets a call - vera yaaru?? DSDR thaan changes voice and calls. Ransom is increased to 10 Lakhs !!! MM MM agrees to dole out that amount . The couple finally eat. Raani enters the house - makes sure to hide her file . FIL shouts at her for going jalan jalan and Raani tells them about the kidnap saga. Just then Vinod calls and Sarrojja picks up the call. Vinodh wants only Raani - well, the job in Vinodh's office ... /looks like it is all Raani's. Sarrojja picks up a fight " Unga anna Oda BIL kitte nee enna cootchi cooing??" Raani comes clean "yes, this morning I went out for job hunting only "

Archu asks MM MM to call DSDR and find out - "avanOda rowdy friend kitte irunthu any news??" MM MM calls and DSDR says that his friend is on the job . MM MM says that the kidnapper called again " I have the money ready but do not know where to go!!" DSDR says that all will fall in place " by tomorrow, you will get the baby back " Raani announces about her decision " with no one earning how to run the family?? Can Gannu boy take care of the family??"Gannu and Sarroja retreat.Aakash and FIL finally condescend - "ennavO pannu "

Next morning - Raani is getting ready to go for the interview. Lists all the work done and tells her MIL 'Meethi ellam, I will come back in the evening and do. I don't want any one pointing fingers at me and saying that I bunk household chores " Sarrojja orders that her "hotelier" hubby needs an ironed shirt "appO ve iron panna sOnnene " Raani is livid but coolly accepts to iron. Calls Sarrojja inside " entha shirt anni??" Sarrojja happily goes in - Raani shuts the door and calls "yeeyyy" Sarrojja is shocked and Raani continues " Enna, un tea kadai hubby kku naan thaan iron panni tharanumaa?? Un Kuttai Odaichu vitta??? Be careful " Sarrojja puts her tail between her legs (habba finalllyyy Raaniii ) DSDR is with his friends - baby is crying and he gives the bottle - the baby is left on a table ( some thing fishy there - DSDR maatti ppanaa??) DSDR tells his friends to carry out the final part of the drama " I will see if they are coming..once they come...take over, ok?? Baby bathiram..." The whole jing bang is in some construction site..DSDR peeps ...MM MM and Archu arrive...

tues - Mr. K, I am having nightmares here. Finish this baby kidnapping business, and finish this story, or else I will ... (Roja, help out with some unusual punishments, please!)

Sorry friends, I am disgusted with this story and its disgusting, revolting, sickening characters, so I am going to keep this brief.

Update for Tues, Aug 9, 2011:

Selvam and Archu in some deserted building. Vasu tells his cronies to do exactly as he says, and to cover up their faces. One of them tells Selvam to leave the money in a drum nearby and to walk away without looking back. In between all this, Archu does her usual, Aiyo kuzhandaiyai oNNum paNNaadheenga, engaLukku kuzhandai thaan vendum ... nachufication, making me wonder why Selvam brought her along - for moral support?

As Selvam and Archu turn around and start walking, Vasu comes running in with the baby, followed by his cronies, all masked. Selvam runs towards the baby, and one of Vasu's goons throws a knife which gets buried in Vasu's back (I sincerely hope it does some major damage!). The police have also arrived, in mufti, they chase the goons and manage to catch one - with their usual (in)efficiency!

Vasu in hospital, Selvam and Archu with long faces. Knowing the idiot Selvam, he will pay for Vasu's hospital expenses. Vasu does a martyr's speech, saying he did this for his brother, this is the parigaaram for all the drogam he did to his brother, etc., The Inspector questions Vasu about his relationship with Selvam, and he repeats the same emotional dialog.(I hope the Inspector doesn't swallow this rubbishy tale!) Inspector wants to know how he landed up there, and Vasu spins a tale about how he tried to find the baby as a parigaaram and found out about the baby being there, listened to the goondas talking about killing the baby, and how he grabbed the baby and tried to tell his brother to take the money and run. The Inspector suspects Vasu of having done this himself, while Selvam tries to defend him. Vasu continues doing sathiyam and the idiot Selvam keeps defending him, while the Inspector brags about how effectively they were able to follow Selvam and rescue the baby (huh?).

Part1

Archana house owner anavasiyama Vasuvela pugal paadranga. She asks MM about Vasu's health. She advices that MM and Archu should forget whatever bad things he has done and forgive him.Bhanu Archu's neigbhor asks why Archu didn't bring the baby home so they all can see him.Archu replies that as soon as Priya saw the baby in hospital she started hugging him and she felt bad seeing Priya.Since Priya is Bio mom Archu decided to leave the baby with her.She also tells how Priya and Archu used to fight for baby and if she asks for baby it won't be nice.Bhanu then agrees with her and tells her if she is free they can go and see the baby.In the mean time Selvam PA comes there. They all go inside and talk about business.She informs that MM and wife are happy.Selvam informs about Vasu condition.PA tells about car sales progress. She tells all cars sold and all money collected about 42lacs. They have profit of 14 lacs. Selvam and Archu very happy. She handsover the account where money is deposited.Both MM and Archu says she is the only one who needs to handle them.In the mean time Archu reminds MM about the money that needs to be given to PA because she took loan from her.Both MM and PA thiru thiru muliching. FlashBack where Selvam tells her that he cannot give 2lacs right now because he has to give money to Rani household.And MM says he will return it soon.Well coming to present Archu insists on giving money back.But PA says she is not in a hurry to get the money.She says make this as a investment in business. And Selvam tells he need to return the money he got for Rani's marriage.In the mean time Arhcu reel ooting about giving her jewels to her to get money for Rani's marriage.

Part2:

PA tells them use the money as investment. She gives a idea that they can get cars directly and sell.MM agrees to her idea and asks when he will return money to her. PA says once he comes rich then she will get the money.Next day they decide to go bring Vasu home and then goto car company and return the money. Morning starts and LR gives juice to Vasu.Vasu phone rings and Revathi calls him. LR encourages Vasu to talk. Reva some loose talk and ask him about foreign trip .Vasu tells that he is in hospital and he in hospital for medical clearance for passport.She encourages him to come up in life . She asks him about his voice and he samalchufies. Reva tells that her dad is coming and cuts the calls. LR asks Vasu why he lied to Reva. He tells that Reva will be scared. LR1 chides when they both will get-t0-gether. RS comes and ask Reva whether she was talking to Vasu.

Part3:

RS tells about Vasu's stay in hospital.RS tells about knife stabbing.Mangu and Reva don't understand anything. RS tells the backstory about Vasu and baby. RS leaves for business matter.Reva and Mangu gets confused. Reva tells that she talked to Vasu and he didn't tell her anything and realizes that he didn't b'cos he doesn't want her to get scared.Mangu tells that Vasu care about her and tells her they have to get=to-gether.Reva leaves to see Vasu.MM tells the story to Siva.He doubts Vasu only sensible person in the serial.MM tells that he and Archu saw in their own eyes he got stabbed.Siva and MM go to hospital to see Vasu.Siva is hesitant to go and see since LR already scolded them.LR takes care of Vasu .Vasu tells that he can discharge today. Siva is happy that he is giving respect to MM. LR says pay the bill since he saved their baby life

Update for Thurs, Aug 11, 2011:

Sorry friends, I am not in a great mood today, so this is going to be short.

Police station - Archu family and Selvam arrive. Inspector says that Vasu's crony has confessed, and he has said that Dheena was behind the kidnapping. Idhu pOraadha enna? The whole family takes turns to curse him, including Jayanthy, and he keeps protesting his innocence.

Rani comes home late, because she was successful in her interview, so they asked her to start work immediately. Akash is put out that she didn't even call them to let them know. She tells him that she is going to be earning Rs. 10,000, and Saroja comes there and accuses her of paNathimir, so she comes home late. Rani denies this, FIL wants to know what is going on, she informs him and asks him to wish her good luck, he tells her that he is not happy with her working.

Saroja tells Rani to make hot coffee for them immediately without giving her a chance to get changed out of her work clothes, and finally Rani tells her to get her teakadai husband to make the coffee. Saroja's mother overhears this, and asks what the matter is. Rani is reluctant to say anything, but she insists, so Rani tells them about the hotel going under, and Ganapathy doing a tea stall. FIL and MIL are angry that Saroja kept this from them.

Gannu comes home then, and pretends to be on the phone, talking about catering orders for his hotel. They let him know that they are on to him, and Akash's dad orders him and Saroja to kattu their moottais and leave. MIL now blames Rani for bringing this about, but Rani tries to tell her that it was she who insisted on knowing all. Saroja goes to her room, quietly remembers to take the money that belongs to Rani (the money from the police station) and leaves, after cursing Rani that she will make sure that Rani is never happy in that house.
