When Roshni and Jai were dating, Roshni accidently got pregnant. And Jai wanted to marry her, but she didn't want to settle down, Mausi and Dadi and everyone tried to convince her, but she didn't agree and got abortion without telling anyone.

and one day when Jai and Roshni were driving, that's when Roshni gave him the news. Jai couldn't keep his balance, and they got into an accident.......and because of the accident something probably happened to Jai and now he can't be a biological father.

and that's why Jigs probably kicked Roshni out of their life...and probably that's why Mausi and Dadi hates her so much....

I have a feeling that the secret may include Bani's mother maybe. It could be that Jai wanted to marry Bani's mother or that jai or Roshni could be responsible for her death, because it was said that Bani's mother was in hospital, and she died because her father didn't have money for medicines n stuff I think, but we don't know y she was in hospital in the first place. Could roshni be related to bani somehow????

Also Bani's dad tells her that Jai walia is the only 1 who will help them. he also sends a letter for Jai. Jai immediately agrees to help them, keep them in his house, give Bani a job...WHY???? is it because his bani's maternal family were family friends of Jai's. or is the reason something else. So i guess the above is possible if not likely.

yeah....I am still confused about why Jai agreed to help them and get her a job so quickly....you are right...maybe it's gotta do with her mom....but I don't think that Jai was in love with her...probably...like you said bani's maternal family were family friends of Jai's......I don't know it's too confusing now...let's wait and see...😉
