Even I first thought that they are rushing. But after giving some thoughts about that, I consider this "sudden adopting" decision as a good view point. Suppose as you said, after some treatments Disha gives birth to a baby, CV can show how such situation should be handled... how to treat an adopted kid along with own kids... We have seen so many discrimination like that... So I think if thats the pov of CVs, then I am happy as at the end it is gonna give another sensitive social issue...
