"So Miss Handa, your presence here is a pleasant surprise. May I ask, what brings you here?" Maan asked in his deep accented voice and Geet felt shivers run down her spine. His voice, my god, his voice was to die for, she thought. And he remembered her name. She couldn't believe he remembered her name.

"Miss Handa? Are you alright?" Maan asked her when she was nowhere close to replying.

"I'm fine Mr.Khuraana and please call me Geet. I wanted to thank you for your help the other day. If it wasn't for you, my life would have been destroyed." Geet felt tears glisten her eyes by the mention of that incident so she quickly looked down.

He came towards her and gently lifted her chin by his thumb to look deep into her eyes. "You don't need to thank me. It was my duty. Besides I assure you, they would be dead before they even messed with one strand of your hair."

Maan said those words with such conviction that Geet couldn't help falling for him. He gently carrassed her eyelids and removed the slight tears formed at the corners of her eyes. She felt like she would melt when she felt his gentle carass.

Once he made sure that she was calm enough, he took a seat next to her.

"So Miss Handa, now that I presume you are done with college, what are your career plans for the future?" he asked her.

Geet was finding it difficult to think with him sitting so close to her. She tried moving as far away from him as possible, in the process failing to notice that she was no longer sitting on the chair. She fell from the chair and on a reflex, Maan caught her hand , but only slipped from his chair and landed on top of her.

Geet closed her eyes when she felt his weight on her. Her breath was heaving in her chest and her heaving chest was colliding with his hard one, not making it any easier to control her feelings.

Maan was lying on top of her soft body, his libido rising to a dangerous level. Her dupatta had slipped from her neck, leaving her skin naked to his hungry eyes. Oh! How he wanted to sink his teeth into that soft flesh. The blush creeping up her cheeks made him want to lick it away.

Geet's heart rate quickened when she felt his breath on her lip while her eyes were still closed. Of its own accord her lips parted.

Maan was trying his best to control himself but when her lips parted, he couldn't resist the open invitation. He slowly lowered his mouth to hers and when their lips met, his lust took over his common sense. He plundered her mouth with his, sucking on her lower lip. He was becoming more and more wild as he sank his teeth into her plump lips and her soft moans weren't helping him either. He explored her mouth, his tongue entering every hidden province. His hands held her captive over her head and her gentle wriggling under him was driving him crazy.

Geet was moaning uncontrollably as his mouth was plundering her. The sweet ache in between her legs was increasing to such a point that it was agony. She wriggled under him to feel him more, when she felt him leave her hands and clutch her waist. Immediately her hands went into his hair and she buried her fingers into his thick hair and pulled him closer to her.

He was devouring her when there was a knock at the door and Maan immediately pulled away from her and got up. Geet was still on the floor with her eyes closed when she felt the warmth of his body leaving her. When she opened her eyes, she found him standing and stretching out his hand to her.

Embarrassment hit her like an axe. She quickly got up without his help and snatched the dupatta from his hand, clutching her mouth with her other hand. What had she done? Had she kissed a man she had only met for the second time? She was not even allowed to looks at other boys. What if her family came to know about this? They would burn him alive. The very thought made her look at him with tears in her eyes.

Maan let the maid inside who set the snacks on the table and quickly exited. Now now, what had he done? He knew he was an animal but what was the need to show that to her, so early into his meeting with her? Now he had to rectify his mistakes and that too pretty soon. The look on her face told him that she was terrified. He had to console her and make sure she was alright. Else his plans would go down the drain.

"Geet" he called out to her but she did not turn.

"Geet" he called out again, but she was busy shedding silent tears.

"Geet" he turned her around to face him and shook her by the shoulders. "Geet, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have kissed you. I'm really sorry for that. " but it had no effect on her. Tears continued to leave her eyes and she looked down.

"Geet, stop crying. I can't see you in tears." Maan said frustrated as Geet was not responding.

Geet looked up at him through her tears when she heard his words. There was a truth in his eyes that made her stop crying.

"I'm sorry for having lost control over myself. Please can you forgive me?" Geet still looked sad, so Maan decided to try putting his plan into play.

" Geet, I don't know if you can believe me, but I'm truly sorry." He handed her an envelope in her hand. "To show you that I'm truly sorry, here is an interview letter. My company is has a few posts empty for fresh graduates and rest assured, only if you are deserving will you get it. If you have forgiven me, you will come for this interview, else I will assume you do not want to see me again." He turned towards the window while his voice sounded choked.

Geet did not know what to say so she quietly exited from there while Maan kept banged his fist to under the wall. This was the first time he had deviated from work. Couldn't he keep his hunger control? The poor creature was terrified. A slight smile formed his lips as he remembered their kiss. This was definitely her first kiss. The nave movement of her tongue was a clear indication. But that was definitely not a problem. There was all the time in the world for him to teach her how to satisfy his hunger. Yes, he was hungry for her, and after today's kiss he promised himself, it would be a matter of days before he branded her.

First things first! He called the reception and asked them if they had done as he had asked them to. When he got a positive reply, he kept the receiver down, satisfied. Now he would have to keep his fingers crossed and see if Geet would come for the interview. Else he would have to re-plan everything, but hopefully it wouldn't come to that, since he knew Geet was smitten by him. What did she come here for anyways? To thank him? By the end of it she would wish her life was destroyed by those goons rather than meeting him, he smiled to himself as he got back to work.

"Geet, what took you so long?" Meera asked excitedly and Geet could see a number of leaflets in her hand. She quickly stuffed the envelope in her hand into the bag.

"What is in your hand Meera?" Geet asked back, ignoring Meera's question.

"Oh Geet, i forgot to tell you. Can you believe our luck. This very hotel is handing out job applications of different companies. And we got them absolutely free since they just started issuing the applications. Aren't we lucky to get these brochures free of cost? The same applications would be arriving in college the next week, and we wouldn't be able to apply for all the jobs since there is a restriction on the number of jobs we apply for, over that those stingy people take money for issuing applications.

"Now we can apply for as many jobs as we like. Here, we have brought the applications for you too. Let us go to the hostel and go through all the brochures.

Meera and Pinky were busy deciding on which jobs they preferred while Geet simply sat near the window thinking about all that happened. She had had her first kiss today and it was a beautiful experience even though it was laced by guilt. But why was he apologizing so much? It wasn't his fault alone. Hadn't she too responded? She too wanted to apologize, but she was too tongue tied in front of him. He was so guilty and she was feeling bad for it. He had been so sweet to offer her a job at his multi -national company, but she did not even thank him. She just walked away from there. What would he think of her now? She had become a total moron nowadays. But she couldn't work with him. Not after he had kissed her, and definitely not after she had realized that she now harbored feelings for him. The realization hit her hard and she gasped in shock.

No, she would not go back there. She would not let her feelings come in the way. She had no right considering how her family was. She would apply for jobs at other companies. She knew that she was capable enough to get a job in at least one company. With that thought in mind, she proceeded to join Meera and Pinky in filing the different job applications.
