Hello everyone,

I thoroughly enjoy watching this show, occasionally reading discussions and listening to the title song, "Bade Achhe Lagte Hai"--well who doesn't! 😛 I started watching the show the first time it aired because the promo's were very intriguing and promising. I am pleasantly surprised and applaud the concept of the show and how it turned out. Many people can relate to this show and the characters in one way or another. Anyways, this will be my first discussion post for this forum. I am unsure whether or not this was previously mentioned. Here it goes. . .

I feel that Karthik is promoting domestic violence. He slap's Natasha often. It was not until the party scene that she reacted. . . and that only because she was publicly humiliated. In prior incidents she just glared in the open and a tear or two trickled down. She was silent and listened to Karthik say his mind. They both appear fine in slapping one another. Almost as though it is normal? Does no one else feel slightly disturbed?

When Karthik slapped Natasha the first time in front of Ayesha and his Mother. . . then the ladies did not create a scene as they did when Ram Kapoor came to confront them.

I hope Karthik stays true to his promise and does not raise a hand on Natasha again. No matter what the conflict, circumstance or if they are alone or not nobody should physically hurt their significant other. Perhaps I am exaggerating the matter more then needed to some. . . but I felt the need to share this.

These are simply my sentiments. I did not intend to offend anyone. If so, please excuse me. Looking forward to Monday's episode. Thank-You for reading my post.

Kind Regards,
Virgo

Yes! As a mature invidual you would use words or walk away. Walking away does not necessarily mean running away from the problem. Sometimes walking away can diffuse the strong emotions in the air. You can take the time to be alone, calm down and thus think clearly. After that articulate your feelings. . . that way hitting and yelling can be avoided. 😊 Karthik holds Priya in such high esteem. I admire his love, respect and bond with his sister. I am sure he can do the same with Natasha minus the violence, after all they are going to get married-- a life long commitment!

And for the record I am not supporting Natasha's behavior and actions 100%. At times she takes things out of context and acts out of anger. . . a lot of anger. Regardless, that does not justify him hitting her. They both could benefit from couple counselling.

i guess . All kartik has been doing is slapping the hell out of Natasha. Then again as much as she deserves it ,I am completely against physical atyachar. He needs to stop getting dragged in to nut's nonsense and walk away from her all to gather. Nuts is a psycho. Please start a petition to put her in a institution for unstable characters. No one deserved to punished for life by marrying that mad woman. Poor guy Kartik. 😭 his family😭

I would like to see "Nutz" character unravel, and learn where all this anger stems from. Why she acts the way she does. 🤔 But I do not want poor Nutz being hit by Karthik everytime she has those moments. That will not help her or him at all. Oh no Cimba, no mental institutions please. I do not want this to be another drama with a lengthy pagal kana scene! Those are tedious and predictable! 😛
