The police tell them that the road has been blocked by a fallen rock, and it will take another two days to move it from the road. Then they ask if there is a place from where they can make a telephone call, and the police tell them a place, and they reverse the car, and drive to that place. On the way, Naina remembers that her old dance teacher stays somewhere in this vicinity. She becomes enthusiastic, as she recalls, her dance lessons as a ten year old girl, and tells Daksh, forgetting all her rancour, with her same old charming way, all the incidences that used to happen then. She tells him, also why she had to leave Darjeeling, after her husband left her, but she would not accept defeat, and she came down here, and made a life for herself. She used to call her Sharma Maam. As they drive along, the car suddenly stalls, and they come out and Daksh opens the bonnet, and tries to find the fault, and realizes that the battery is low, due to the previous night's rain. When they are thinking what to do, a ball comes and hits the car, and Daksh picks it, and then some kids come out of the gate searching for their ball. Daksh asks who hit the ball. They say, Guddi did it. No one among them is Guddi.
At home, Vidhyadar consoles his wife, and tells her that even though they have not received a call from their son, it does not mean, that they are in danger. He tells her that the phone lines could be down, and yet they could be still doing fine. It is better to wait for some more time. Sanket too tells them, that the News did not mention anything out of the way. He too hopes for the best.
Sonakshi is sitting on the bonnet of her car, shivering and crouched with ther knees tucked up, and wrapped round her arms, and is mumbling to herself, about Daksh. Her father, comes rushing in his car, and finally reaches the spot, and finds the daughter is having high fever. He puts her in the car, and rushes home, as Sonakshi is in a delirium and talking about Daksh, and the father vows vengeance on this man, Daksh. At home, they lay her down on the bed, and her mother gives her some syrup, with her worried eyes and face drawn out in anxiety and fear. The husband, tells her that he has called the daughter. When the daughter mumbles about Daksh, the mother tries to hush her up, and this angers her husband, who takes his anger on her, and tells that it is not her fault, but of Daksh, and you have a soft corner for him, rather than your own daughter. Again, with wide, angry eyes, penetrating through his glistening spectacles, he vows to take his revenge on Daksh and teach him a lesson he will never forget in his life. Or will he be humbled when he comes to know, that it was his wife's illegitimate daughter's trauma that he was trying to heal.
Back on the road, Guddi in tennis shoes and a yellow saree, arrives with a bat, and swaggers towards the two standing alongside the car. The kids, are waiting to find out what she will do. Guddi asks if they found the ball, and Daksh tells her that he has it. Daksh wants apologies from her, and she says that it is they who should apologize for her, as but for their car, she would have got a sixer. Naina recognizes Guddi, and tells her, that it does not give her "Shoba" - meaning respect. They make jokes about the word, which she used to use, when Naina was a small girl herself, and they both laugh and embrace each other. Seeing Daksh, Ms Sharma asks Naina if he is Abhimanyu Kulkarni, and suddenly Naina becomes sober.
Later in the house, Naina and Ms Sharma, have a close talk, and talk about life. More to watch in the next episode.
