In which world they are living in?? Is it India or some 3rd world country where a man can have more than one wife? India is a 3 rd world country, and even today in India men enjoy priveledges which women cannot even think of, including romance outside marriage and more than one spouse, living in metropolitan areas cannot show you the real India.
Why these unreal stuff are bing shown?? My son asked me thisquestion after seeing this..." Mom how ome you said that being an Indian we are not allowed to marry twice or allowed to divorce?? Now living in USA what should I answer to my son?? Exactly, legally you cannot marry twice, other than if you are a muslim in India, but in acountry where they are killing there own children as honour killing do you think they care a paise worth for legality? I am sorry but you living in the USA, have no idea to the actual plight that is happening in present day India, no offence meant, i know as much of USA as you know of India, we only know what the other wants to potray themselves as and not reality, USA is not only about rock music, hollywood movies and the whitehouse, similarly India is not about what is shown in Karan johar movies, the typically goody image.Please don't show these stuff which is not real because impact of these serials are not nice.. In American soap they are geting married then they have extra marital affaires which is normal for this culture but same stuff is being shown in our Indian soap these days which is not acceptable!! Why is it not acceptable, this is a reality in India and its hitting Indian social fabric much louder than the USA society. India today in its quest for thoughtlessly copying the west have today got itself all the vices of western societies, and extramarital affairs, marital abuse is as real in India as the political scams.
I agree wid u all!! Anandi fought for Gulli, Phooli why not for herself?? I agree you can get love back by fighting but why leave your rights withought teaching them a lesson!! Also I think its a crap that Ghar ki izzat kya rah jayegi...n all. Yes it is expected that you will think of it as crap, but a person like Anandi will also think that getting a microwave oven or a washing machine is a crap waste of money, its individual perspective depending on a person's environment and upbringing. After Gauri opened her fat mouth then ghar ki izzat kya rah gayee and on top of that Anandi was justifying by saying aap log Gauri ka dard kyon nahee samajhate. Stop making Anandi a Super woman jaise woh aasmaan se utari huee koi devi hai jo sirf doosaron ke liye sochati hai then stop getting hurt Anandi... People who think about others means they are sensitive thus they get hurt also, there is no absolute black and white, it doesnt mean if anandi loves herself she has to hate gauri.

No offence meant to you, actually i myself am frustrated with the hypocratic attitude of present day Indian society and having witnessed it close, I am speaking these from experience.
