Hey everyone. Sorry for the late update. I was going to update yesterday but I had to go to my dad's friends house. Here's Chapter 8:
Taani and Khushi were blushing bright red when they came home. Shilpa and Arohi were getting very worried.
Shilpa: Taani, Khush, are you 2 ok?
Taani: We're fine.
She ran off to her room and closed the door.
Arohi: Hmmm...& Khushi?
Khushi was nowhere to be seen. She was in the kitchen cooking food.
Shilpa: Something's definitely wrong.
Shilpa and Arohi went to talk to their best friends.
Shilpa: Taani, darwaza kolo.
Taani opened the door and laid on the bed, lost in Anu's thoughts.
Shilpa: Taani, what's wrong with you? Why are your cheeks so red?
Taani didn't give an answer and got up from the bed, walking over to her bookshelf. She picked out a romantic novel and sat back down, opening the first page.
Shilpa: Taani...
Taani: Nothing happened.
Shilpa: Acha theek hai. Auditions kaisa tha?
Taani: It was amazing. I got in!
Shilpa screamed and hugged her best friend.
Over in the kitchen, Khushi was telling Arohi everthing on why she was blushing. Arohi was amazed, seeing that Khushi was falling in love.
Khushi: I AM NOT FALLING IN LOVE ARU!!!
Arohi: Yes you are. If you blush, it means that you are falling in love.
Khushi threw a pillow at Arohi and looked away, thinking about Arnav.
Arohi: Now tell me, how does he look?
Khushi: Nope. You can search it yourself. His name is Arnav Khurana.
Arohi thought: I've heard Khurana somewhere...OMG. ARJUN!!!
Khushi: Why did you go all quiet? How was your auditions?
Arohi: It was great but also bad.
Khushi: Why?
Arohi: Great because I got in. Bad because of Arjun Khurana. He is the main lead with me. Argh!!
She stomped out of the kitchen, walking to Taani's.
Arnav and Anurag were in the same "bimari" as Taani and Khushi. Neelu was sitting next to them, staring at them smiling.
Neelu: Anu, Arnu, yeh kya hai? Since the time I have sat down, you two have been smiling by ourselves.
Arnav: Maa, stop calling me Arnu.
Neelu: Theek hai, I won't. But please tell me what has happened to you both.
Arjun walked into the spacious living room and embraced his mother.
Arjun: Why are you asking them? They have fallen in love.
Anu and Arnav came back to reality.
Anu hesitating: No...Wwe ha..haven't.
Arnav: Anu Bhaiya is right.
Neelu: Hmmm...Kaisi hai?
Anu, Arnav: Kaun?
Neelu: Woh larkiyan?
Arnav: MUM!!!
He got out of his chair and walked away. Arjun followed him.
Neelu: Anu, I know you will tell me.
Anu: Fine Maa. Well I haven't fallen in love but I always keep thinking about her.
Neelu: Bol na.
Anu: Her name's Taani Sharma. She's just joined my office as a singer.
Neelu: Love at first sight?
Anu: Well, kind of. We met when she was in hospital, after I had nearly killed her. Then she came to our house and said thank you...
He explained every single meeting to his mother.
Neelu: Kal, you will get a picture of her.
Anu: What??!!!
Neelu: Plz Anu. I want 2 c her.
Anu: Theek hai Maa.
He got off and smiled. Even if he had to take a picture of Taani, a plus point was that he would have a picture of her on his phone.
It was already morning. It was Arohi's and Taani's first day. They prayed and walked together, until they had to separate. Khushi and Shilpa already had reached office and was waiting for someone...
Khushi was impatiently waiting for Arnav. She wanted to see his face, the way he looked at her with his expressive eyes...It was 10am, and he still wasn't here.
Khushi: Arnav kaha rehgaya...
Colleague: Arnav Sir aaj nahi aayenge. Woh ek business trip ke liye bahaar gay hai.
Khushi thanked her colleague and went to her office, She sat down and looked at her sketched. Every now and then, she would stare at his desk. She was missing him, and that was very badly...
Meanwhile, Taani had reached office. She was sitting in the waiting room, thinking of Anu. Someone clicked their fingers. She looked up to see Anurag Khurana, walking in. Taani immediately stood up.
Anu: Hey Taani.
Taani: Hi Anu.
Anu: Erm...Come to my cabin after 5 minutes.
She nodded her head and sat back down, singing to herself.
Anurag was looking at her through his window. He needed to get a picture of her. When Taani was looking in a different direction, he quickly took photos. As he was scrolling through the photos on his Blackberry, he saw that none of them were good. Taani opened the door.
Anu: Taani, sit.
She sat down.
Anu: Sooo...How's life?
Taani: Good. Kam ki baat kare?
Anu: Ha. Well, 1st you will do some recordings of various songs and then you will...
Taani: I willl...
Anu: Go home. Yh.
Taani: Ok..k.
Anu: By the way, you don't need to come office everyday. Plus, you could try and make up your own songs.
Taani: Sure.
She got up and walked to the studio.
Anurag got out his laptop and searched for Taani. He went to google images. Thousands of picture came up of Taani. He looked at everyone, trying to find the best one.
He looked at the one above. Anu was smitten by her beauty, her simplicity and her angelic look. He quickly took a picture of it and looked at it on his phone. Then he set it as his desktop wallpaper. 5 minutes later, he changed it back to his old one.
Anu thought: What am I thinking? Taani, you are just too beautiful!
Shilpa's duty today was again with Armaan. She liked his company but felt very uncomfortable.
Dr S: Aaj tum sab ki night shift hai. If you want, you can call your family and inform them.
Everyone took out their phones and texted their family members. Armaan and Shilpa's duty today was in the Mental Ward. As soon as they entered the ward, someone jumped out in front of them.
Shilpa screamed and gripped Armaan's arm tightly. He smiled to himself and walked inside.
Armaan: You can stay and monitor them with me if you like.
Shilpa nodded in agreement as they checked all the patients.
Patient 1: What a beautiful couple. My husband doesn't even care about me.
Patient 2: Acha...Hospital aake tumhari mu bohot kul gayi hai. Who was the 1 to give you flowers on ur birthday at midnight?
Everyone: Awww
Shilpa and Armaan laughed.
Shilpa: We are not a couple, just colleagues.
Patient 1: Ha ha. Mein sab samajti hoon. That's what all the kids in this generation say.
Armaan: Well, we are just friends. Isn't it Shilpa?
Shilpa: Yep. Now, our job is monitor you, not to chat..
Arsh went around to every patient, checking if their health had improved. Once that job was finished, Arsh went to the canteen to get dinner. It was already 8pm. Anjali, Atul, Muskaan and Rahul were already sitting there.
Rahul: Come and join us.
They sat down next to them, drinking their coffees.
Atul: How about we take a photo? Of all of us...
Anjali: Atul, don't be silly. It's a hospital.
Armaan: Who cares?
They all squashed in next to each other. Armaan and Shilpa were closer than they had ever been. Their shoulders were touching. Arsh were staring at each other. There was a flash. As Shilpa was getting up to continue with her work, she realised that she couldn't move. Shilpa turned around to see that her dupatta was stuck in Armaan's watch. They both tried to get it off, when their hands touched. They looked into each other's eyes, forgetting everything. It was a cute eyelock. When they came back to their senses, no one was around. It was all dark. Armaan tried to look at the time. It was half nine. They had been looking at each other's eyes for an hour. Everyone had left. They were locked up, and would be their till morning.
Arohi and Arjun were acting since 11am. They were exhausted and sat down on the picnic tables.
Arohi: OMG. That was so tiring.
Arjun: I know rite.
Arjuhi looked at each other.
Arjuhi: Eurgh. Y am I talking to u?
They looked in the opposite direction.
Ekta: Hello, Arjun & Arohi. I don't want this fighting on my sets. Now, hurry up, the SBS people want to interview you.
Arjuhi trudged along to the media.
Reporter: Hello. I hear that you are our new Karanika. Is that right?
Arjun: Yes. I am so happy that I have been in KMH 3.
Arohi: Yh. Ekta ma'am has given us this opportunity, which I would never get in my life.
Reporter: Any fights between the two of you?
Arohi: Hmm...many...I mean no, of course not. We are like the best of friends, hai na Arjun?
Arjun: Yh. 😕
Reporter: Well, thank you for your time.
The reporter walked off. Arjuhi breathed a sigh of relief.
Arjun: Why did you tell them that we are best friends?
Arohi: I don't want any media talk on us, so I had to say it.
Ekta: Arohi's right.
Arohi stuck her tongue out at him and walked off.
Arjun: Next time, the media will say that we have fallen in love!
He walked off to his car and drove away.

Armaan lit the candle. He looked at her, their eyes in contact. Shilpa blushed. She tried to run away. Armaan pulled her closer to him,they were only 1cm apart.
