Kim Sharma gets her voice dubbed in Tom D

After actresses like Tanushree Dutta and Katrina Kaif now it's Kim Sharma to have her voice dubbed by a professional dubbing artist for Tom Dick and Harry. Kim plays the character of a fisherwoman in the film. She justifies her stance saying, "It was my decision altogether to get my voice dubbed by a professional artist. I didn't like my voice on screen. My character required a typical loud Marathi accent. Though I can speak fluent Marathi, I couldn't get the nuances correct. So I went for dubbing but made sure that I attended all the sessions of dubbing."

Producer Surinder Bhatia added, "A professional artist Meghana Erande has dub for Kim as she was not good in that particular accent in Marathi. She plays a machchiwali in this movie and the required accent was not possible for Kim as she had to speak in typical machchiwali style. So we approached Meghana Erande who has dubbed for many actresses before".

Director Deepak Tijori, however, had no issues with Kim's voice. On his part, Deepak says, "It was purely Kim and the producer's decision. I was not involved. I was happy with Kim's voice. In fact I was amazed that she could speak fluent Marathi which I didn't know before signing her."

When asked about his plans for the sequel of Tom Dick and Harry he clarifies, "I have not yet thought about it. I have always said that if this film does well then I'll think about the sequel. The collections of TDH are good and music is already popular but it's too early to announce its sequel."
