Shilpa Anand major bags B-town deal

Actress Shilpa Anand, more popularly known as Dr. Riddhima in the television serial Dill Mill Gayye is reportedly on cloud nine now that she has bagged a role in a Bollywood movie starring Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon. The pretty actress, who plays an investigative journalist, bagged the role as the last minute replacement for the original actress who was supposed to play that role.

The movie titled Alert 24-7 deals with the aspect of corruption in politics and Shilpa who owes this role to her popularity as a small screen actor is quoted to have said, "I play an outgoing journalist who is not afraid of anything and approaches anyone with her questions. I will be playing opposite Ruslaan Mumtaz."
