* I officially declare Kesar incapable of being mad at Gulaal. Like honestly! He's upset about the way his actions have been deemed, but upset enough to not sneak smiles to himself at the food, or turn down Gulaal's offer to give him more sabzi? Naah! Upset enough to not let her give him dessert aka gur uh, yeh... just for a while (and no I'm not trying to be cheesy annoying by using the word dessert. I really did think of how he let's her give him veggies but not Gur ... even though there was no underlying meaning to it, the irony was curious 😆) Anyway, even when he doesn't let her give him gur, he does explain why - geez, he just can't sort of walk out on her leaving her rejected. He has to tell her he's not upset with her, but with his own futile attempts in never getting anything right. On that note, I love how he tells her he has always exerted haq over her - but it's been always. And I like how even though he's framing himself for the blame of over stepping daayre it is obvious to both that its not him but Gulaal who has changed the conditions of their equation, and he's just lagged on catching up with her 'new rules'. Anyway - no he's not playing the guilt card on her, but it works like that anyway. But what must be noted is the fact, again, that he can't just brush her off and walk away, even in 'avoidance' mode. Finally of course, the tuntuna 😆 Oh how I love the way he tries to be wary and exasperated at her harkat but only ends up with a grudging and inevitable sneaking smile (second time) That scene is SO awesome! Reemz - I was watching it and thinking of your hope for romantic scenes - here they come dude! This is the classic GK romance I was talking about. They just do their own thang and make you go all aww at them, without striving to be 'hawt' 😎 Seriously, I can't gush enough over that scene - especially the bit where he's fighting his reaction, but his own smile is as spoiled as Gullu herself, refusing to be snubbed, and wont let him be in peace 😆 Of course, the 'music lessons' further the romance (special mention to Kesar telling Gulaal to not play it if she doesn't know - lol, I thought she wasn't so bad man! But maybe I was just too busy fawning over Kesar's sneaky smile ☺️ ) She totally stunned him for s second by adding her vocals didn't she?! I also like how the CVs at this point don't depict an admiring or catch in a trance Kesar, but still one who is at least striving to keep the 'distance' even if he's too much a softie to succeed long enough! I also like how although Gulaal is only expressing her apology yet another time, she actually adds more substance to it, like she can sense he's relenting and she knows her extra push will put things back on track. That's the thing about Gulaal - she's always so sure of herself. When she's wrong, and when she's right. Anyway, the candid dialog to set things right is good - not dragged, not dramatic, but hits bull's eye. Expressions and acting - as always bang on. Especially when he finally makes to take her hand, that smile through his tears... aww! Btw, has everyone noticed as much as me how his longer hair have been more tamed since yesterday? All this while that he was to 'stay away' he combed them a little too much. Then by the final showdown scene at Kunal's house, they were again sticking out in true Kesar element 😆 It was like even his hair were supposed to downplay the mood 😆

okay moving on...

* Wohooo Dushy! You smell a rat don't cha man?! Finally, someone who owns a brain in that big house! Actually, it's not just the brain, but that common evil vein that the brothers have shared in the past. I suppose having been the Dushyant that he once was, even his reform doesn't take away that instinct to spot trouble. He was the one to question Raman's delay yesterday, he was the one to question Raman to his face, and ofc, he was the one not disturbed but dubious of Raman backing out from the Shagun party. Dushyant has caught a whiff - which goes on to indicate potential for the Dulli angle, but even not that, it still will play in part in Vasant murder showdown. I think for now I like the fact that it's Dushyant on the trail. Of all the people in that house, if anyone can catch the plan before its too late - its him.

* Raman's plan. So here's my guesswork. Raman has set his commission with Kunal's family. They are going to drive the Talsagra family to their limit of no other option or way, and then Raman gets his money out of the deal ofc. I'm not sure how it jeopardizes the wedding chance itself - but its interesting how Raman has played the dual game ... bringing to event the Talli and Kunal meeting, which all by itself can be blown far far out of proportion if and when need be in an orthodox village set up, specially given Talli's record of broken weddings. At the same time, he's playing his trump with convincing the members of that house for the money demand. When Kunal's mother said there was not much wajah to reject the new proposal, she was setting bait to be offered better dowry, ofc. Kesar is naturally going to be all out against this match. I'd expect MB to be as much. But honestly, if the whole family, especially Talli give their consent (something that Raman is constantly working on) I think MB will give in, and Kesar will just have to concede. Does anyone see a Kesar Kunal confronting chat coming up? Interestingly, Kesar does trust Kunal tons. He was pretty okay about Talli meeting the guy and getting a gift. Gulaal was pricked by the idea of a 'secret rendezvous', and rightfully. Notice also, how Kesar trusts the event because it is under Raman's eye. Some big trust walls are going to be ripped soon enough! Including, ahem, JK and Sudha's!

* Talli was/is/will remain an eye sore. And I have virtually delivered a kick in the shins to Gulaal (not Mansi) for detecting the lurking pink and calling Talli inside. Can she seriously never tell that ridiculous killjoy to buzz off?! Like ever! Can she not even just pretend she hasn't seen her - oh the annoyance! Talli's prompt Kunal ne diya hai was so totally a bait for Kesar - dude! what is she playing at - annoying little pesk! I was so proud of how Kesar dealt his teasers back, attaboy! Not that I trust the message Kesar is happy I'm with Kunal to penetrate Talli's thick skull anytime soon! She is walking danger in that house. Undeniably! I hope we wont see Kunal and Talli marry against his parents' wishes and come to live in Talsagra home 🤢 Okay, I know that was random, she's just annoying, and her angle keeps complicating evident scenes all the time. I don't understand her interference. She even teases Kesar (not Gulaal ofc) about needing privacy for the call - which oh btw, she's only going to cut! When Kunal tells himself he's more worried than her for their future, I almost just for a second pity and empathize... then I remember how brainless he is to be smitten by this pretend-dumb crying chit of a girl, and I remember his shayari to appease her, and I can't sympathize anymore with him, duh!) Kesar's get's a gold medal in wit and liners for pronouncing Talli the bad bola nagada 😆 Oh and, although this is a point for Talli, I can't but add what peace it gives me to watch Gulaal break off into peels of laughter at that. GK together, and laughing. I can almost ignore Talli in that picture - almost. It's heartening to see what Kesar has finally accomplished for Gulaal's good. He has revived if not entirely then at least significantly the elemental Gulaal who was lost in the sands of time. She is up on her toes, playful, and smiling, making jokes, cajoling and pampering - and hold your breath - not patronizing?! Did you notice that?! Not for a second since yesterday has Gulaal donned her 'patronizing mode' as from when Kesar extended the hand in friendship. I think her realization of wrong footing has subconsciously given Kesar a higher pedestal in her head... she's made such a grave error in misunderstanding, that she just can't, even unknowingly, treat him as 'the kid'. Oh relief!

All in all - the episode moves many tracks forward. GK were a delight. Talli needs to take a holiday for our sake. I want to see more of JK and Dushyant when it's not GK - not Raman and Sudha and Talli and Kunal please! The precap has potential. Dushyant is not going to be so gullible. I have an intuition he's going to bring his secret spies to action. He had better! And that does show some hope for Dulli - Dushyant is far too involved in this scene to just be accomplishing mass good. Just maybe, Kesar and Dushyant will bond over this crisis. Perhaps that will be setting up counter stage for when they come to the Vasant confrontation, and how then, Kesar standing against Dushyant becomes all the more drama... Let's see?!

The KG scenes were tooo sweet today...I'm still on a high...lol

Yes, Kesar CAN NOT stay mad at her...he just doesn't have it in him...lol...He does try to keep up the aloofness intermittently but when the little smiles escape anyways, you can't help but go awww...lol...my fav. too was his smile in the room when he sees that Gulaal is persisting with trying to play that tuntuna...lol

And yeah his hair is sticking out in odd ways now...lol...like there was a strand curling strangely to the side of his head...was kind distracting me in the scene too...lol...he's got HP type hair it seems :P lol

The dialogues were so awesome in all the KG scenes today...from the haq one to the daayra ones...loved all of them as I mentioned in Reemz's post as well.

Now coming to the rest...Talli didn't annoy me as much as I'd expected cuz KG were laughing at her together as I said in other posts...lol...so I could tolerate her for a change cuz I was busy smiling at how adorable KG looked ganging up on her in some ways :P

Forwarded the Kunal scene so no idea what happened there.

The D and R issue seems to be shaping up more clearly now...D is getting more and more suspicious and things will deffo come to a head soon...Dulli possiblities are getting stronger...lol...Remains to be seen what part K and G play in all this and how if affects them too.

And yeah I did notice that Gulaal has dropped the patronizing tone...K and G were EQUALS in that scene again...she actually looks at Kesar with all the affection back in her eyes and yes her respect for him has grown too...one can tell...I'm loving this new shift :-)

You won't believe it but I was thinking about the conversation we had yesterday too when I saw this scene. Like you said, this is classic GK romance. They're almost poetic! It's romantic without any intention to be romantic. These little things they do for each other make such a difference don't they?

Even when Kesar left the dining area, you could see Gulaal follow him out. This was only in the background but I still found that romantic.

I don't really wish to discuss any other character today ☺️ Mujhe phangurl banna hai!

I dont think i have the strength today to write in another thread a long post, sorry JZee
I said what i had to in Reemz post and also wrote something in your brothers in arms/wars thread
😊
Reemz - their connection is 'romance' enough 😉
"Their connection is indescribable... yet entirely visible" - how much more romantic can it get 😉😳😳
Everything KG do is like poetry in motion, esp those scenes that touch you - heart-touching or heartbreaking or heart-wrenching, thats them even in Chottu Kesuda/Gulaal scenes 😳
'Romance' which cant ever be the typical romance for KG is always about the depth to the couple and their indivduality and their scenes - deciphering their scenes, and the simplicity that means so much more and KG are that 😊

Nur if you have the time please do caps, and please please please do an avi of that bedroom grudging smile! The scene was SO exclusive! I don' know one other couple on TV who can pack me off to lala land while separated by a distance of several feet! Not even looking at each other. Much less talking. Ohhh these two 😍

Btw - You know I loved Dan's hair best in the 4th movie, when it was sticking out most! I love messy hair I think, and not just for guys - but there's something so endearing about that lol! Its one reason I wasn't rooting for Kesar's haircut... but only when they're sticking out, not combed slick as Kesar grumpy scenes from yesterday and today!

I think Raman understands that getting Dushyant on his team is like an ace... he needs that conviction and vote of confidence totally. He's learned his lesson of letting Sudha and Dushyant go to opposite side before, and I don't think he intends to let that happen again - but while Dushyant is capable of thinking like Raman to understand his evil ways, Raman can never understand the way Dushyant's mind now works. He's going to be beaten by that. I just hope Kesar is not going to do something terribly dumb like find a confidante in Raman instead of Dushyant - heck I almost want D-K to bond over this matter for now!

*hi five* main to hu already ☺️ I was blushing in that scene cause I was smiling so wide, my cheeks will ache from it all night. They were so utterly adorable, I wanted to get in the screen and hug them - but that would be like pulling off a Talli

"Their connection is indescribable... yet entirely visible" - how much more romantic can it get 😉😳😳 Yeh man! It's this intangible something that hanging there between them... it just plays all the push and pull dynamics we see between them, and distance is so convincingly immaterial for GK! They are friends in love - but there's nothing cliche about that seemingly trite concept!
