Well, in any situation you have certain resources at your disposal - time, money and energy. Naitik wanted to spend money and save on the others, at the same time ending up with a grand wedding. It doesn't happen that way, does it? Even planners need briefs, they need interacting with, they need supervision. Chandni's 'Hand over the cheque and Leave it to me' mode doesn't work unless the planner is special (which she wasn't) and the budget is extraordinary.

IMO, Akshara was right - you can do many things yourself and when you have the necessary competencies it's a waste of resources to ignore it. Work on saris etc is somehting these women handle every week, so why pay through your nose for a label that is clearly selling shoddy products.
A lapse in judgement on Naitik's part - simply because he was looking to impress, too worried about the end product and how it SEEMS instead of getting the most intelligent deal.

As for Akshara vs Naitik, well, this is a women oriented soap, isn't it? The heroine will be glorified, that too in an arena that is clearly hers. No question.

I also agree that they didnt do justice with Natik's idea. I mean Akshara was so interefering from the beginning and then she gets pissed when G3 tells her to mind her own business. Then Natik is being a grown up and responsible brother and wanted to make his sister's wedding grand and let all the family members enjoy, but akshara maate wouldnt hear any of it. It is like she just wants to creat problems for herslef then screw up and then get blamed and yelled at and then act like a victim and cry. Apparently, they had cancelled all the vendors when Chanfdini came but now in 2 days akshara will appoint new vendors like come on she is not a professional event planner so she has no contacts for last minute prep. She is not Jane from wedding SOS even she will refuse to do a wedding in 2 days. Plus all akshara wants is that the blouses are perfect like what about decor and everything else. With so many ceremonies and people planning a wedding is not that simple.

wedding is next day but how many yrkkh hours and shows to get through...

as per me i think they made naitik lag broken just because he have eye problem . while he is the brother of the bride have to do much work but as hina said in her interview today in sbs he is not allowed much in front of light so now as he cant move around he dont needed much time to work and his eyes also can take rest. its fine with me if he take care of him self . he is also a human . and as we all know how hactic about this shoot . so may be they didnt show it the correct way but i am ok while karan can take littel time off .
as per the screenplay as our writer is chaged it will take time to adjust to new changes for us . but for me as the wedding is done fast i will be happy.

I wish they hadn't totally shown Naitik's idea falling apart in such a drastic way. He was really trying so hard to make things better for everyone. He loves his sister and wanted to really make this day special for her. And he loves Akshara and didn't want her stressing out with all the responsibilites.

And getting a planner doesnt mean that family members have nothing else to do. My cousin had a wedding planner for his wedding who took care of all the decor and all the headache like that but all the family members were busy taking care of the gues who came from far away and stayed overnight like with the SS guests. At the end no one was lazying around because everyone had a job to do.

So exactly how is akshara able to take care of all the guests and plan a wedding in 2 days??????????
