Adi will be shown alot once we he finds out the truth.
I think Adi will be the first one to find out about Gaurav and Karan. He'll probably see them together or overhear them talking.

I have never watched a Hindi serial in my life and I'm HOOKED on "Maryada". I think it's absolutely wonderful! My friends laugh at me, but I don't care! :-)

hey same here...i hav never watched any hindi serial for more than a month...i lose patience after that😳...but maryada changed this😃...ever since last oct ...i hav got hooked onto this one!!!!!!

may be u usually see only saas-bahu dramas so u can't understand the reality ...so plz think twice before posting such topics...can't agree with u dear coz

1. no woman can expose the truths of her family to the world...

2. AdiYa love story is out of the world...

3. though Priya never wins over SSP but she tries...

4. What can Vidya do...homosexuality cannot be changed by anyone...so she doesn't has any way without crying...and also don't forget she is a semi illiterate girl...

5. An widow has no way when she is not self depended...

before some days I was also feded up but then tried to feel the reality and pia also helped me to realize the truth...so I'm in love with show again

I'm not ... I think they're showing how multi-faceted women are; how many different obstacles we face, and how some of them we face with strength, and others with weakness.

Devyani is a prime example of a woman of substance, with her family as her strength and her weakness. She has done anything and everything for her family, including killing her own self-respect and dignity. ANd now, it's gone to the extent that she has put herself in a situation where she has to turn a blind eye to her husband carrying it on with her sister. She KNOWS what he husband is up to, but she will choose to pretend she doesn't know. Not because she's scared of him, but because she's scared of having her family break apart. She knows Gaurav's truth will break it apart, and he's already at the brink of falling apart. So he has to apply band aid after band aid to the situation.

And ironically, it takes monumental strength to stay quiet about something so big. To know the wife in you is dying a little death each day, and not do anything about it calls for a lot of patience.

She's weak since she can't see her family fall apart. But she's also strong, coz she won't let her family fall apart, at any cost.

I'm not fed up of this show at all.

Also, it isn't the case that Vidya is always crying - she just found out her hubby is gay. what ELSE can she do. I would be in shock if I were her too. But watch, she's gonna go back. And be Devyani #2, except with a better hubby. They will have a marriage of convenience coz her dad won't let her stay at home.

And about woman being weak - no. This show is ALL about their strength. Strength that Vidya showed when she walked out given her family, her lack of education, her love for her husband, and her acceptance that he will never be his. Yet she chose to stand up for herself against the deception she was put through.

Strength that Priya is showing fighting for what's right in the wisest of way. I have always felt that there are very few situations where you need to fight a fight when you know you'll lose. VERY FEW. This isn't one of them. If Priya goes and tells all, NO ONE will be with her, including her hubby. She will have lost, yet again. And this time, she'll lose the husband she loves. So, instead she's still fighting, but differently. She'll continue to do so. She'll figure out a way. And tha's the strength they're showing. Sometimes there's strength in being quiet when all you want to do is yell at the world. Sometimes there's strength in fighting when it's easier to sit it out. Priya is being wise in bidding her time.

And lastly there's Uttara - she's fighting a battle against herself. She's been fooled to believe her brother in law is fighting his attraction toward her and is an honorable man. Out of the four, Uttara is the weakest at this point, given her loss of her hubby, her belief that she's destroyed her family, and her loneliness. But I have hopes her strength will shine through. But if any of the 4 will break, it will be Uttara.

Ok - enough of my babbling - I'll be signing off.

in short, I'm not bored of this show, or fed up of it ;)

i find it interesting now actually. Priya & vidya r strong women whereas uttara & devyani arent very strong-headed ppl. Maryada's just showing the reality though. But the pace does need to improve.

I can't agree with your point of view on certain aspects it is ancient and refgressive. Why the hell can't a woman expose the truths of her family to the world and why does a widow have no way. Not all women, even in India are chattels owned by their men. They have been given free will and expression and millions of women use this will to survive and expose the dirty secrets of their husbands.
