Abhay would have thought that the ID belongs to the werewolf as it was found in the place where Chand was lying injured. Later when he confronted Chirag Doshi and found his passport immigration details/Tickets confirming that he was not in town on that date, he apologized for his behaviour. But when he touched Chand and Chand responded to the blood, he was convinced that Chirag was the werewolf as he could not doubt Kabir, Angad or Jay.

i also feel pity for chirag!
