Well, my least favourite was actually Northanger Abbey - that was quite a freaky novel! Then there was also Lady Susan... but that's a completely different discussion! 😊

I think paridhi22 might be right - it could be more to do with Anjali's past than Arnav's or Khushi's - neither of them is very much like Anne or Captain Wentworth for sure! But Anjali is also not too much like Anne - so God (or rather the creatives!) only knows!

@arch_nat112 I too doubt persuasion to fit in IPKKND😕 but cv's are like anything😆😆 and they can fit it even if it is nt required 😆and then we also don't have clue about anjali's and arnav's past😕😕

well atleast ppl now stop saying its copied from GEET n KMH coz its not if it is then GEET n KMH are also copy of these novels
well Arnav is so like Darcy,proud n arrogant but inner he has good heart

Lol seriously, as soon as there is some similiarity they start on about how it has been inspired from the novel.

The only thing similar is that like Elizabeth. Khushi is outsppken, Darcy didnt hate Elizabeth but arnav does, just because they start off disliking each other doesnt mean its inspired from Pride and Prejudice. Have they even read the book to be making such assumptions.

I don't think this show is on the lines of Pride and Prejiduce. And that's a book the mighty lot of us here have read.

Just because Arnav is arrogant and has a hard exterior doesn't mean he becomes Mr. Darcy now, does it?

I don't know. In my point of view the book and the show don't resemble much.

pride and prejudice has been done with many shows and this show also joins the least...

there are so many arrogant characters...sujal...maan...angad...robbie...abhay...arjun...jai walia...rishabh bajaj...and now arnav... many more we have seen...are they all compared to William Darcy..

i don't think or will compare arnav with darcy or the show with PAP...i consider this show as another passionate and romantic of two indiviuals who are different from each other...how love...destiny...passion bonds them together...and the boundaries their love with go...
