Lavanya and Arnav=?

I really got curious about Lavanya and Arnav's relationship.

I saw no topics for this discussion so i decided to really ask who is this Lavanya in Arnav's life?

I mean judging from what we know of Arnav, he has no place for love(except for that for his family) so how come he is in a relationship with Lavanya? Or is he?

He never even thinks of her! Lavanya is pretty but really shallow. So what is this all about? Did I miss something?

i thnk to him she may just be like a posession, to show tht he has everythng, looks, money and a beautiful girlfriend! i knw he certainly doesnt care for her, thts obvious bcz of the way he acts around her!and anyway, aftr the rain scene betwn him and khushi, he was on his own and remember wht he said?! tht no girl affects him, so thts why i thnk lavanya doesnt affect him, but khushi is starting to!

I think she is just a weapon against other advancing women... To ward them of, at one point of time arnav might have declared her his girlfriend.. I don't think there are any emotions attached. It is just too obvious. And to complicate the story in future the creatives need another woman. In geet tehy portrayed maan as "Demi God" so they didn't dare bring in another girl to spice things up, but in this serial the creatives are cautious, they have introduced a gf already.
