Hey everyone!!! Here's the next chapter:

Shilpa and Armaan were glaring at each other as they sorted the files. It was already 1am and Shilpa was thinking about Taani. She thought that she would give her a call.

Shilpa: Hello Taani.

Taani: Shilpa, tum kaha ho??? Raat ke ek baj gaye aur tum abhi ghaar nahi poche?

Shilpa: Taani, wo ek larka hai...

She glanced at Armaan and then whispered.

Shilpa: Mera jeena haram kar diya. Hum dono bohot bare kaam mein pas gaye iss liye hume yaha rukhna para. Sorry yaar.

Taani: Acha theek hai. Par jaldi aana. Bye.

Shilpa: Bye.

She hung up the phone and started to organise the files. On the other side of the room, Armaan was talking to his mum.

Neelu: Armaan, yeh kya hai? Ek baj gaye aur tum ghar nahi poche?

Armaan: Mum, chillax (Chill and relax put 2getha!!!). You see, this girl had to come in my way and made me drop all these files. We both got into trouble so we have to stay here until we finish the work.

Neelu: Acha par jaldi aana. Take care.

Armaan: You to. Remember to have your medicine.

He hung up as he breathed a sigh of relief. As Armaan turned around, he saw that Shilpa was eavesdropping on his conversation.

Armaan: Miss Anand, how dare you eavesdrop on my conversation?

A tear rolled down Shilpa's cheeks. Armaan was touched.

Armaan: I'm really sorry if I said anything bad.

Shilpa: No no. It's just that, you're so lucky. You've got a mother who cares for you and me, I've got no one except for my friends. We're all orphans. 😭 We all lived in an orphanage and came here to fulfil our dream careers.

Armaan looked at her, and felt sympathy for her. He touched her shoulders as she hugged him.

Shilpa thought: Why am I hugging him? And, why did I tell him everything about me?

Armaan though: Kitni paatar dil ki lagti hai, par woh to bilqul opposite hai.

Shilpa got out of Armaan's hands.

Shilpa: Sorry.

She ran off as Armaan smiled at her.

Taani was lost in Anurag. She loved the way he smiled, his looks and his talks. Even if he didn't say sorry, she was happy enough that Anurag atleast took her to the hospital. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. Taani went to answer it. Shilpa was standing there, drenched. Taani dragged her in as they sat down. Taani noticed that Shilpa had cried before.

Taani: Shilpa, tu ro rahi ti?

Shilpa wiped her cheeks.

Shilpa: Aisa kuch nahi hai. Something went into my eyes.

Taani: Yeah yeah, I believe you. You say that I act as a typical Bollywood heroine when you are aswell. Ab batao. Tujhe meri kasam.

Shilpa: Taani, why do you always keep me under this promise?

Taani was just waiting for Shilpa's answer. Shilpa narrated the whole story to Taani. She hugged her best friend. As they were talking, they realised that it was already 6am! Taani asked Shilpa if she had work and Shilpa said no. Shilpa decided to take some rest.

Over at the Khurana's, Neelanjana was praying. Her four sons came downstairs and took her blessings.

Arnav: Acha Maa, mein ek zaroori call karne jaa rahi hoon. Panch minute mein aaya.

He rushed to phone and dialled the number.

Arnav: Hello. Is this Khushi Gupta speaking?

Khushi: Yes. And aap kaun?

Arnav: Mein Khurana Fashions ka malik hoon. I hear that you want a job as a fashion designer there.

Khushi: Yes I do. Now hurry up and tell me where to come.

Arnav: Well Miss Gupta, what's the time?

Khushi: Are you mad or what? Don't you have a clock at home?

She turned to the clock.

Khushi: Half 7.

Arnav: So...

Khushi was in a deep thought. She then remembered and was shocked.

Khushi: OMG!!! I'm really sorry sir, woh I didn't realise the time.

Arnav: 30 minutes late!!! This means that you'll be going home 30 minutes late. The more you waste my time, the more minutes I'll add to your list. Now if you want a job, hurry up.

He disconnected the call as Khushi rushed to collect her bag. She waved goodbye to her friends and hurried to Khurana Fashions.

Taani: Aru, chal mere saath.

Arohi: Kaha Di?

Taani: Khurana Mansion.

Arohi: Kyun???

Taani: Woh Anurag ne mujhe hospital chora, and I didn't even thank him. So...

Arohi: Looks like someone has fallen in love!!!

Taani hit her sister as they caught a taxi and drove to the Khurana's.

Taani and Arohi were standing outside the Khurana Mansion. It was huge. Hundreds of windows were on the walls and 10 cars were parked in the driveway. Taani was panicking, and she didn't know why. They approached the front of the house and went inside.

Not just the outside was huge, but the inside was the most beautiful and was enormous. Its interiors were decorated with paisley patterns and rich furniture that no one could ever think of. Taani and Arohi had their mouths wide open.

A tall handsome young man walked in. He looked at Arohi's face and chuckled.

Arohi: What are you laughing at?

Man: You my dear. Look at your face.

He did an impression of Arohi with her mouth wide open. Even Taani giggled at this.

Arohi: Di, that's so mean!!!

Taani: Acha acha, sorry Aru.

Man: Btw, I'm Arjun, Arjun Khurana.

Taani: I'm Taani Sharma and this is my little sister Arohi.

Arjun: Nice to meet you Arohi.

Arohi ignored him as Taani smiled.

Taani: Is Anurag at home?

Arjun: Yh, he is. Just go upstairs and take the left. That's his room.

Taani thanked him as she went up the stairs.

Arjun: So Miss A Sharma, how old are you?

Arohi: Why do you take interest?

Arjun: Just. Sorry Miss Questionwali.

Arohi: HOW DARE YOU CALL ME THAT???

Taani: Aru, calm down.

Arjun: Yh Aru. Haven't you ever heard from K3G, Arohi, take a chill pill!!!

Arohi: ARJUN!!!!

He laughed and went off to his room.

Meanwhile, Taani had reached Anurag's room. She was smiling at all the photos of him on the walls. She touched them and blushed. Suddenly Anurag came and instantly realised that it was Taani. He went behind her.

Anu: Hello Taani.

Taani jumped and fell into his arms. They looked into each other's eyes, lost in them. They didn't even realise that Arohi was calling them. The wind blew Taani's hair in front of her face. Anurag took it away and smiled at her.

Arohi: Love is in the air!!!

Taanu came back to reality.

Taani: Woh, I came to say thank you for yesterday.

Anu: It's ok. And I'm very sorry.

Taani: No, it's fine. Ok, I must go now. Bye.

Anu: Bye.

Taani and Arohi went out of the room. Anu smiled at the thought of what had happened 2 minutes ago.
