Humko Tumse Kitani Mohabbat Hai Part I
"Arnav why don't you put that laptop and those files away and go to bed", Anjali Di said quite irritated with her little brother, "it's already midnight."
"Di i'm going to go to sleep after i finish editing this project, ok, you should go to sleep," Arnav said nonchalantly searching for some documents on his laptop.
Anjali just stood there staring at her brother and tapping her fingers, Arnav realized that his sister will not leave him alone that easily, "Have you taken your medications Di?"
"Haan, have you taken your medications Arnav?" Anjali retorted.
"Oh ummm...haan i was just about to take them."
"Arnav" Anjali said with a knowing and exasperated tone that her brother does not fully take care of himself, "If you care so much about your company and its well being, don't you think the boss should take care of his health also?"
"Please Di don't start again"
"Huh...start what?"
"Uh nothing...ok im going to go take my medications right now, you can go to sleep, ok" Anrav said starting to rise from the couch.
"Its ok you finish up your project and i'll get your medication for you."
"Ok di" Arnav said situating himself back to his work.
Anjali left to get Arnav's medication. After a couple of minutes, Arnav let out a yawn and got up to stretch. He walked towards the window and looked out to see the sky looking dark and dangerous, thunder was booming and it was raining endlessly, dripping on the Raizada mansion windows leaving streak marks due to misty air and humidity. Lighting flashed across the sky and the wind was blowing with such great force. When is this storm going to stop Arnav thought to himself and heaved out a big sigh.
"Ab kya chinta kar rahe ho meri bahi" Anjali teased as she gave Anrav his medication.
"Kuch nahi, Di you need your rest, please go to sleep."
"Acha baba hum ja rahe," "But I want you in bed at 1 am sharp, ok"Anjali said with authority.
"Di, are you now giving me a bedtime" Arnav teased smiling at his sister.
"Arnav, please at least listen to me once in a while" Anjali Di said with a sad tone.
"Ok Di, I'm sorry...i promise i will be in bed at 1 sharp, ok" Arnav said trying to reassure his sister.
"Teek hai" "Now I can go to sleep...Goodnight Arnav" "Goodnight Di" and with that Anjali started to walk towards the grand stairs, when suddenly there was a loud banging on the door. She turned around and asked "Arnav who is that banging on the door this late at night?"
"How am i supposed to know Di, but how did they past the gate, wasn't it locked?" Arnav asked confused.
"I don't know Arnav, maybe the watchman accidently left it open." Anjali said still concerned about who was at the door.
The banging continued and with much force this time.
"Di please go inside and I'll check who it is."
"Nahi, I'm going to stand here." "Diii" Arnav said in an annoyed tone.
"Arnav go check who it is." Arnav got up from the couch "Samal ke Arnav." Arnav turned around with an weary look, "Relax Di, ab main dekhoon."
"Haan Haan, jao na."
Arnav turned around and shook his head and started walking towards the great double mansion doors. When Arnav reached the doors he pressed on the intercom but it woudn't turn on, maybe because of the rain and thunder the electric cords might have short circuited so the intercom wasn't working, Arnav thought. Ughh...Arnav heaved out big sigh. So, he decided to look through the window...but all he could see was a shadow as the lighting flashed across the sky and the sound of bangles hitting the heavy doors. Not being able to stand the banging any longer, Arnav opened the door and when he did two fists came right at him, but he caught them in time. Then the person banging on the door turned around, but since it was so dark outside Arnav could not make out the face of the stranger.
"Please help me" came an angel like voice, trembling with fear. "Please those people are still after, please help me." The voice pleaded again.
"Di, can you please turn the outside lights on"
The lights turned on, and the stranger present in front of Arnav was a girl, who was drenched by the rain. Arnav looked at her face, and he felt like his heart skipped a beat and his eyes looked into hers and it seemed as if he could read them like an open book. Arnav saw helplessness and fear forming into drops of tears rolling down the angels face.
"Arnav" came Anjali's voice, bringing him back to his sense and breaking this deadly spell, this girl has just tried to cast upon him.
Now, Arnav was really mad that this girl could not go anywhere else to ask for help, but decided to come here.
"Look whoever you are, I don't have the time or the patience to deal with this foolishness and definitely not for a begging stranger. Now go away." Arnav said with a harsh tone.
The girl thought, who was this cold heartless man that couldn't see how desperately she needed help. The girl pleaded again with a shaky voice, "Please this is no foolishness, i'm telling the truth i really need help."
Arnav was furious now, thunder was booming louder and louder and the rain seemed to pour even harder.
"I don't let random strangers into my house, now go away from here" and realizing he was still holding her hands he shoved the girl aside and slammed the door shut in her face.
The girl almost lost her balance, but caught the banister of the stairs. She was left standing astounded at the actions of the man.
Another bolt of lighting flashed across the sky, and the girl started trembling with fear and anxiety, thinking of what will happen to her now. Tears were falling endlessly from her eyes, and her heart prayed for a miracle to happen.
Precap: The girl fell unconscious. "Arnav pick her up and bring her into the house" (Arnav is seen to have picked the girl up in his arms)...(She is lying on the bed and she grabs Arnavs hand when he was about to leave) "Please don't leave me, please" the girl spoke with such helplessness(Arnavs expressions show shock/confusion)
