Hi Guys...I just saw the new promo...and wow did it come from left field. So again the GEET CVS are making good on another older tradition...shocking viewers with tracks that we did not imagine...atleast not at this point in time...right!! Love you CVs for keeping me on my toes!!! 😛



Here is my analysis from the Promo...Is it Symbolism or my Overactive Imagination? Please do let me know what you think!!!😉

The promo begins with Maan in a hospital room...Maan's expression on his face as he is lying on the hospital bed...he is in pain, despair...there is confusion...he cannot understand what he is seeing...he see flashes of memory with Geet...

As he is lying on the bed...He is shrouded in shadow...surrounded only darkness in the room, in his heart...in his mind...yet there is a BIT of Light...like the light on the back wall of the hospital room, like in his heart and mind...the flashes of Geet's image is always shown OVER EXPOSED in light...

Also in looking at the promo...you can see the shadow of lines ...like bars superimposed on Maan... representing a JAIL of sorts...In amnesia...isn't his mind like a jail...where he can only see but cannot understand or escape...

What I think is Possible but not likely is that This JAIL may also represent the JAIL of his past... but his flashes consist of only his past with Geet...not his family...not of Sameera or even Daadi.😕

Then as he awakens...he is forced to splash WATER on his face...to come to terms with what he sees. WATER...again the one natural ELEMENT that ties Maaneet...the one representation of their RISHTA...of thier PERSONAL TIE. Again...i think this water is elluding to a PREGNANCY...Geet will learn that she is preganant at the time when Maan will have lost his memory. Maan will be granted his wish to become PAPPA...but it will remain unknown to him.

The FINAL point of this promo is that NO MATTER the CALAMITY that will befall MAAN...his GUIDING LIGHT...his GEET will always be there to lead him back to LIFE...to HAPPINESS...back to to his GEET...for she will forever be MAAN ki GEET!!!😳😛

In all of this...again in I want to reiterate that I am really looking forward to this track...similar to the bankruptcy track. 😳

I Am hoping that they will have a VERY CLEVER link between these 2 tracks...
The BANKRUPTCY and the AMNESIA...like a PAST figure...perhaps Sameera as his real MOM??😕

Loved the promo which zapped me, loved your analytical symbolism which pruned my thoughts and can't love the Rahul Sher 'cause I can't understand poetic hindi...LOL.

I just remember that before Maan left the house, he licked the sweetness off Geets face to prove his Daadis words - an ageing superstitiion of reaping good work if one so sweetens the mouth - a reminder that any positive thought like a melting sweet can bring positive results...and Geets awkward declaration of another ageing superstition not to tread backward after stepping forward - and for Maan the end result either way is Geet and the harmony of their lives... Frankly the truth is "is there anything as horrible as starting on a trip of great value, once off, thats all right, but the last moments are earthquake and convulsion and the feeling that you are a snail being pulled off your rock; hence , told not to step back - once a step is put forward... Maan & Geet seem way above superstitions, rather moving harmoniously, taking in whatever comes their way as destiny..

With this, I would like to go back to an earlier symbolism you projected of disharmony and harmony within the new house versus the old usurped home...It would seem the only harmony or disharmony would be in Maan's mind which would react to several happenings that by order of events would dishearten him...and the only evident factor would be his mummyji... I remember u rightly pointed out the shadows and light that is garnered in one area, playing havoc symbolizing "all's not well" in the usurped home... For one anxious moment I would hv given into a fickle Dev, but to my joy he is as I always wanted - the changed man...reiterating his happiness at being forgiven by M&G...

Today again, with this promo, I allow ur symbolism to deeply touch my heart...with the begining and end being Geet for Maan...A jail that only superimposes the state of his mind...wanting to be free to run toward that harmony yet unable...good symbolism Nags... A very philosophical truth is that when mind dies, love becomes truth. Anything that dies is painful, anything that dissolves is painful, and as shown in the Promo, when the mind's activity is temporarily dissolved, its painful. And so we will see the rebellion within his mind, wanting to emphasize existence, to remember the cause of his existence (obv. Geet)...

This again reminds me that perhaps its with this calamity that Geet starts to work for Maan's sake...and there is no order of disharmony as to who wears the pants outside and who does it inside LOL.

Btw, after marriage, and during the time of their honeymoon in the resort Dev worked, there happened to be a lot of talk in IF on this theme track - Maan's amnesic bout, Dev's return to the Kingdom of Maan, Maan's bankruptcy ofcourse, Geet's return to work...wonder how these predictions took shape as from then...giving it new lease of life, new theme, new track story etc. Anyways,
