So without further ado-the update!
*drum roll*
New beginnings
Its early morning and the day starts for the residents of GB's household
*energetic early morning guitar music* (Well it seems like guitar anyway.I'm not well versed in the instrument business.As long as I know its music...)
Shaan looking through a big spiral bound notebook.Looking all important. Khushi combing hands through hair and brushing cheeks with blush wala brush(even though she has full make-up on). Adi combing hair with hands (Whats with these peole??Ghar mein brush nahi hai kya?Or is this some cool technique to make hair look cooler??Brush it with your fingers? I mean-inventions ka faida kya hua agar sab kaam haathon se kerna tha??).Khanak sitting with eyes closed and hands clasped-presumably engaged in morning prayer (Waise I have a feeling she was wearing the same clothes as the last time I updated-Hello Shaan now that you've started earning, you might want to spend some time buying clothes for your wife instead of giving impromptu and totally unnecessary guitar lessons.I'm just saying...). GB writing the sauda and talking to herself (Please refrain from making fun of her talking to herself.I've been known to do the same.Its very insightful indeed.In fact most times, some of the best company is to be had from self.I mean-isn't half the world so boring??)
[On an aside-who the heck gave younger sisters the power to insult you when you're doing something as innocent as updating?!Hmph.Now I'm in a bad mood.Blame subsequent insults and what nots on younger sister.Thank you.]
The Crush
Khushi hurrying out in her poop colored dress(Okay fineee.Not uss type ka brown.Dried blood wala brown maybe?) and almost collides with Puppy in his neon blue. Puppy is all *in heaven* (making me wish he goes to asli heaven.Though who am I to say that he shall eventually be headed to heaven?đ¤) Khushi says Awww my angel! Thank god I almost bumped into you-you're my lucky charm! She pinches his cheek and goes away. Puppy keeps a hand (on the other cheek may I mention, but thats forgivable.The man just had his senses scattered) and goes Hayeee!
Man-to-man talks
Two men standing with Shaan congratulating him saying Woww you did kamal! Came only yesterday and went so ahead of us! (Ermm Shaan you might want to watch your back.) Looking at you we feel that we may do something someday (Umm hello?Men?You might not want to follow exactly in the guy's footsteps.But readers, I believe this dialogue was put in to renew Shaan's faith in himself)
Adi passing by, sees and eavesdrops and shakes his head very cutely indeed
Adi and Shaan meet in middle of corridor
*Shaan shocked and what-the-hecked*
*Adi smiling mysteriously* (Welll.Its not really mysterious but I can't exactly decide if smile is evil/gleeful/knowing etcđ)
Adi laughs and says Haha-so this is what you do??Chorus singing?And attitude aisa jaise movie mein Playback singing you are doing!So you left house looking like a hero for this??To impress these lukkhas?? (Hmmm tou Adi you want Shaan to dress up sirf aap ke liye?Haan?)
Shaan says the people you're calling lukkha are my friends who are very talented.And only people who have talent come here-which makes me wonder(he said think but in interest of completely correct grammar-it doesn't really fit inđ¤) ke what are you doing here?
Adi says Oh I see! You mean to say I have no talent (Dude-a word of advice.Subtle insults should be allowed to remain subtle insults)
Well my man-I am the guy due to whom you all get your salaries.Apparently Shaan's company has hired Adi's company for some database work to increase their revenue.Or something (Sorry have a purely science background.Excuse my limited understanding) but forget it-you won't understand these things ( đ˛Insult! Meri insult!!! đĄ Oh haan aur Shaan ki bhi. But Shaan tou has MBA background-it won't hurt him) you go have fun with your 'lukkha' friends (I have no idea what lukkha means FYI.If it is more or less similar to vela, I prefer the latter) You see-I have to sign laakhon ki deal
*Shaan gives an is-that-right expression*

Khushi smiling to her self, twidling around with cellphone in an office type space.Waiting area
Receptionist looks at Khushi and asks how long she will wait?Director is busy.
Khushi says No worries.I shall wait today.Kal tou inhein hee mera wait kerna hai.Receptionist gives Khushi a *woah!Crazy woman!* look.
Don't you know I am the heroine of his next film?I am Khushi-Khushi Sharma! Receptionist gives her a *Yeah right.Whatever you say* look
Faltu calls from faltu people
Shaan practicing lines for dubbing
'Tum mujhe chod ke jaa sakti ho, par mein hamesha tumharay saath rahoon ga'
Shaan says the line and feels it fall flat.Tries again. Falls flat again.Imagines Khanak leaving him and him saying the lines to her.The lines flow out like a charm. (đ Sorry.That was me incorporating a cliched scene.He likes the second attempt and thats all there is to it)
Shaan hoping that they like his work.
Shaan's phone rings
Its Khanak.Says she called to wish him best of luck.
Shaan says thanks! She says my wishes are always with you.
Shaan says you're so sweet!Khanak smiles.Shaan says if I pass this audition raat ko meri taraf se sab ke liyay ice-cream-done!
Khanak says but I won't be able to eat it-mera vrat hai
Shaan says but its not Monday so ab kis ke liye?
Khanak says Hai koi
Shaan says Alright I need to go abhi.Bye!
Khanak says bye!
(Please replace Khanak's name with Simran's when reading the above conversation.Since I could not get through it sanely I had to pretend it was Khanak there)
Whoopsie daisy!
Adi in office.Tells his boss that he shall finally have to increase his salary since he has finalized the deal in his first week
Boss looks happy and asks which deal? Adi says the recording studio wali.I heard it was in the works for months.I made a proposal in a week and now those people are very keen to work with us
Boss reads the file
Boss throws the file at Adi
Says what is wrong with you??You quoted such a little sum! No margin for profit! Don't know the ABC of business and went to deal! That too without asking me?!
Adi tries to defend himself
The Boss tells him to shut up and says even a college student doesn't make such a ghatiya proposal!Don't know why I hired you!
Tells Adi that he has one week to make profit.Otherwise he's fired!Tells Adi to get out
(Aww Adi looks so bechara! *hugsss* Ugh I hate bosses.Its an evil branch of humanity am sure.Not that I've ever had one yet.But they're always evil in books and movies.Unless they're the hero)
Chan se jo tootay koi sapna
GB and Puppy putting away vegetables
GB tells Puppy he has to look afer the sabzi.Agar ek bhi kharab ho gayi tou Puppy will be the one to not get dinner (I wonder if Puppy knows the secret to halt natural processes)
GB says she has to cook for 15 every day
Adi comes home all depressed
GB goes to him and tells him to not worry-she shall cook for 15 every day.Asks if he got the advance
Adi looks sad
Puppy holds out his hand for the money.Adi puts his hand on his and apologizes to GB saying the rules of the office have changed thus its going to take time for your contract to be drawn up.
GB seems to go into shock
Adi reassures her
*sad music*
GB goes and sits on the bed-still looking shell shocked with tears in her eyes
Puppy goes to comfort her
GB says will have to wait a few more days-I tou had to send the money to the village (Why do I get the feeling ShaNak shall play Good Samaritans?What with the 10,000 and all.But I still think 10,000 is too much.There has to be a catch!)
Ab aai ka ilaaj kaise hoga?
Puppy tells her the money shall be arranged-don't worry Mausi (Hain??Last time I watched he was still calling her GB.Why this sudden change?Waise no wonder she doesn't kick him out.Familial obligation! *understanding dawns*)
GB starts crying
Puppy tells her to not cry.He shall arrange the money and ajji shall get better! Says its all his fault and he shouldn't have trusted Adi
*Puppy-GB hug*
Shaan reading through his dialogues
Man comes out from recording studio, invites him in
Someone called Shekhar also comes.Apparently Shaan had been called because Shekhar was busy and now that he was available Shaan was no longer required.Man tells Shaan that he will call him whenever they need someone.
Shaan is heartbroken.Looks at spiral bound script, keeps it on the table, kinda strokes it (So like I think you need to hurry home ASAP and hug Khanak.Then both of you can have a looong talk)
[Okay I just realized the 4th part is starting and there is NO KHANAK! Ugh.I am in an ugly mood now!đĄ]
Woman in purple suit comes out talking to a man, appearing busy
Khushi starts her 'Hello ma'am, excuse me ma'am!' chant
Purple suit stops and deigns to talk to her
Khushi says you selected me yesterday!
Purple suit says Oh yeah, but tis going to take some time for project to start-leave your photos at reception.And goes away
Khushi is confused
Receptionist speaks out-says this was why I was telling you to go.I knew what was happening inside.The big shot chosen initially for the role stepped down her price and is now doing the role.This happens in this industry.But don't lose hope.Take care! (Ah.A nice receptionist for a change.Makes me feel there is still hope in this world)
*Khushi heartbroken*

Shaan walking amongst puddles, looking dejected

Thinking he did so much mehnat, and first time he got the chance to do something but even that was snatched away! (Okay Shaan-stop looking down upon chorus singers! Woh bhi insaan hotay hain.Woh bhi kaam kerte hain! Doing it shall not make you less of a man! As long as a man works honestly-its all good! Though you know, this might be a sing that you're meant to go into business and not music...)
