Their distress was admittedly not as impactful as it could have been (acting/directing flaw), but the Dakshna admission scene was in keeping with the essence of Daksh & Naina. Think about it... Naina cannot now back out of the marriage with Abhi without a GREAT reason. She can't do it for Daksh cuz it would destroy his family for her to do so. At the sametime - she needed to acknowledge Daksh's feelings albeit by trivializing it. Daksh similarly recognized their dreams were not feasible and trivialized his feelings for the same reason. Their pretense that they would fight a lot if they got together was just that PRETENSE... and both knew it. Somethings need not be articulated to to be understood. The love btwn them is to be felt not spelt. That is what differentiates them from Sonakshi and Abhi - they spell their love but, don't genuinely feel it or honour it. Whatever Daksh and Naina do they do with grace and honour.

@Anjana:Beautifully said. The only thing I loved abt the scene was how it was kept natural and simple-just like any other scene!...But,it needed to be a bit more intense;abit more crucial, abit more filmy!!:P...Like,confessions or confrontations should've tht intense effect-to make 'em more spcl, wht say??...:p...But,anyhow...this was not the lst confession...I'm sure amuch more pasisonate confession is yt to come-when Naina realizes her love,ofcourse!!..*sigh*...

I agree with Anjana that Dakshna NEEDED to trivialise their love for the sake of the situation but I wish it was better directed.

First - at special intimate moments, I would like characters to SHUT THE DOOR! 😡 It feels more special.

Second, the screenplay was nice - Daksh trying to shut the door but Naina pushing through but somehow the pacing let the scene down. Naina is demanding why he didn't tell her, Daksh gets pissed because he thinks she has never listened to him or perceived his love. She is getting married today - it's an impossible situation. On top of that, they are friends - friends enough to get into a stupid fight about whose fault it was. Mature enough to know that nothing can be done now, in an honorable way.

But somehow all those things did not come out in the scene. There should have been two sharp conversations - one on the dialogue level, one on the undercurrent, body language level. They didn't succeed with that, IMO.

But I have no real problem with the story - so they both know that Daksh loves her. Does Naina love him? yes. But does she know? probably. In any case, she would NEVER have accepted Abhi if she knew she could have Daksh. probably, Naina loved D fromthe very first moment but suppressed it because he did not like her at all. poor thing. 😕

Now she will be jealous and 'tyaag' will also come into it. Let us see what happens.

I agree with you...In other perspective keeping in view dakshna' s mind and attitude, and they are more mature to understand the reality of situation...it may be correct..but for sure the scene didn't come out how it was meant to be...I t would have been better,as u said may be acting and direction flaws..little bit more emotions and expressions could have made the scene worth watching,.anyways lets see what else is in store for us😛
