when she said "YOU HAVE TO COME BACK TO THAT HOUSE" to vidya... I was like shocked... She does not have 1% remorse on what she did...

Both Miya Bibi on loose and ruining everyones lives... SSP is out there and ruining outside people;s lives and Devyani is in the house and doing the same job... I DO NOT SEE HER AS BECHARI. SHE IS EQUALLY SINFUL AS SSP

SO Agree with you. To save her son's skin she cannot ruin another person. I can understand her motherhood but still ruining another person life has no justification for her action. What did she thought if she married a village gawar...then she won't open her mouth and stay in that house for her son's and her family's sake. I hope Vidya will stand her ground and ask Devyani for what reason she should go back to Gaurav and dumbfold Devyani by giving her JHATAAK's like never before...

I can totally understand where you are coming from and do agree that Devyani is being selfish, but there is this thought which just makes me wonder. How many of us will actually stand for what is correct when the life of the person we love is at stake. Are we all not selfish and will we not go to extreme's to protect the people we love. Kudos to cvs for showing normal human behaviour.

I used to hate Devyani at the start because she would always brush up things under the carpet and never deal with it. But recently my perception about her has changed and this is my interpretation of her character so please no offence to anyone

Most Indian girls in genral (I am not saying all) are taught from birth that they are the 'izzat' of the house. They need to be pious till they get married. They are the torch bearers of the Maryada of the house and once they get married they have to do the same for their sasural. Once Uttra mentioned that Devyani had been the sensible one among them my interpretation of that is she was already trained with such ideologies before marriage.

Then she got married to SSP who lives a double standard life and he harvested on Devyani's ideologies. He too stressed on how the Maryada of his family was important to him and Devyani will be held responsible for anything that goes wrong. He treats her like dirt and blames her for anything that goes wrong in the house. However high mighty Devyani might act deep down she is a chicken. She doesn't have the guts to stand up for herself in front of her bully. She gives the excuse she wants to mantain peace in the house but deep down she is scared of her husband's anger

Now coming to her forcing Gaurav and Vidya's alliance. In the flashback they showed she was about to tell him that Gaurav is gay but then again SSP's anger shushed her and as usual she chose the ease way out without thinking of the repercussions. Probably if she had been slightly sensible and used Bauji help things would have been not such a mess but I doubt even that would stop that creep.

To be honest with u i can live with her being selfish as it matches her character but I am more disappointed in Uttra and Priya's behaviour. Priya's excuse for brushing the matter under the carpet doesn't make sense. Her husband loves her and if with RD's help she exposed SSP's true colours he would support her. How weak does she think her husband is who won't be able to live after he faces his Dad's truth. As far as Uttra goes I am confused about where her character is leading😕

Very true..Dear thank God atleast in Maryada we can see basic human emotions than those mahan ..sati savetri type characters...Without being judgemental ..I see a great mother in Devyani..atleast a mother who loves her son unconditionally ..
