Duplicating this post I wrote from another thread bec' of relevance to this topic...

How amazing is it that women slapping men is laudable while men slapping women is punishable is an acceptable mindset in Indian society... land of Gandhiji. Wonder what Mahatma will have to say about that!😕

Physical outburst whatever the justification behind it is nothing but just that. Slapping a child, or adult tears into a person's self-esteem and self-confidence. There is an old song in Tamil from decades ago...never liked this one line in it..."adikira kai thaan anaikum" (the hands that hit also embrace").

Would Prats have to resort to slapping the man she claims to love more than herself had she acted earlier on to bridge the differences with Krishna? She walked out without fighting back when she could have. She zoned out and wasted valuable time. She didn't take her Shamu Papa's advice and act on it either (and for once he gave sensible advice). She decided to listen to, of all people Arusi, that Krishna has made up his mind to keep her out of his life. To put it bluntly, Krishna and Prats are both immature and stumbling their way through marriage, they have ways to go before they understand the meaning of a happy marriage, it's not just a habit of living under the same roof, there is more to a better quality of life.

If she wanted to slap anyone she should have slapped herself first earlier on and done something to get Krishna to listen to the truth that she already missed while she was still living with him until it got to the point it did causing chaos and havoc in the family. The fact she walked out on him only added to his ziddi and refusal to hear her out.

Looks like the rocky road has taken a quick short cut home. Krishna went to Prats and asked for forgiveness and wanted to take her back home.

He fessed up for his failure to trust her but Prats refused to go home with him for she didn't trust him anymore.

Krishna puts on a stage show like John Travolta and Prats changes her mind as Krishna pressures her into giving in to his ziddi ways. He did warn her he was far more ziddi than her and he proves it every time.
