But there is more that binds these two ladies together- a rishta- yes they are related!!!

Ragini is Soumya Seth's bua's devrani Kamini's daughter while Soumya is Ragini's bade mummy's (taiji) brother's daughter. They aren't distant cousins as the buzz in telly town claims but the two ladies are related via their families. Oddly, though their respective families are far relations, their families have been close for years. Ragini explains, "We know her family personally, though it is a distant relation but I don't need a blood relation to give importance to people that. We all connected and have stayed in touch. Soumya is a little girl, a child who is learning about life and work gradually. I wish her all the best and hope things work out beautifully for her. I am thrilled that she got such a cool break as Navya, which I was never fortunate to get."

Ragini feels Soumya is doing a good job in her show though she has seen only two scenes yet she gives out advice to Soumya as and when needed and even visited her on her sets once. "She had just started shooting and was getting paranoid about late hours and the shoot. I was in the vicinity so I went over and spoke to her about the ways of the tv industry. I hope she learns from my experience as I never had anyone to guide me when I began my career. We are of the same age bracket so we get along well and chill and hang out too. Though not often as we both have demanding schedules."

Soumya too is has all praises for Ragini. "She is an amazing person, very hardworking and a brilliant actress. I would love to be like her. I enjoy watching her in SGP. She has been a great help and is always a phone call away if I need any help."
