da challenge will change kushi from good to even better trust me..
she's now independent, strong, confident and brave so nobody can point their fingers at her; not even ASR!!!!

Nadz ... yep, she's gonna change even more, this is just the start ... this is the journey of both Arnav and Khushi starting from opposite poles till they meet halfway ...
and I'm loving the transition too ... going from sheltered protected, to being able to meet all challenges thrown at her, being brave and determined ... that she already is ... but this is a new ball game and she has to learn the rules fast ... she has to win against ASR, and he hates to lose, so he will pull all the stops out ... till he starts changing in his turn ... which also he already has ... there's an ever present smirk on ASR's face every time he sees Khushi, and it's great fun to see how it gets wiped off every time 😆
Though I have a feeling the final challenge will be a dhamaka of sorts ...

Now, you take a bow. You are very much right. Khushi wants to prove only to Arnav, that she can work, but for Arnav, he's not holding whether she can work or not. He knows she can work, and do a better job in the bimbos in his office. His personal tryst with her, is kinda of unexplored for now. Is he doing this because he wants to stop himself for falling for her, for her innocence, her nature? Is he trying to prove to himself that she cannot do much, that she is what she is , an opportunist as he first regarded her or what? Arnav is melting. Not fast enough, but he is slowly beginning to realize ( maybe at snail space) that never judge a book by their first cover or never judge a person by their first impressions. First impressions do not make the person.

One of the symbolic scenes today for me was what Manju aunty told Khushi. Khushi at 18 has already experinced the whole family saga that follows her, but now she is stepping into the real world. most of us don't step into the real cold world until we have gain some maturity in ourselves. Khushi is beginning to lose her innocence at a very young age.

In the long run, that might just make her stronger.👍🏼 and I really truly hope that for the new promo, she does not do what he wants her to do, but ends up slapping something in his face. I don't want her to lose her innocence in this battle of wits.

Thanks for replying, Jenny. Yep, All Khushi wants to do is to clear her name which has been smirched time and again ... but he has a completely different agenda in mind, driven by his ego and his jumping to conclusions that she is an opportunist ... without ever giving her a chance .

Manju aunty is sweet - the only support for Khushi in that zoo ... and she 's giving Khushi valuable lessons that life is not always sweet and happy, you meet all sorts of people and you have to deal with them, and that's what growing up is all about. This whole experience will make Khushi stronger for sure, but she will have to leave her sheltered childhood behind ...

and I'm sure Khushi will find a way out of that minidress task as well 😆

On another note, I really am confused with Arnav's personal agenda with her. He's doing three simple things:
- Making her stronger to fight the world, because when he had to lose his innocence, nobody was there to help him or show him how to fight the world. He's making her strong by throwing these crazy challenges at her.
- On one hand, he hates her but at the same time he cares for. Before he let her fall, but today he grabbed her hand and pulled her towards him.
- He is slowly letting go off her innocence, because he knows in this cold world, her innocence can easily be manipulated, and could land her in greater trouble so he's slowly getting rid of it, so that she does not become another Arnav in the long run.😊

Sanaya Irani, is a brilliant actor! I don't know about others, but playing shy and reclusive Gunjan to all of a sudden, a character that has so many shades, so many different characters wrapped in one ball and to do it so naturally, it takes a lot. Not over the top, not loud. Just amazing and love this girl. From girl with the spunk Sameera, to stylish Sanaya, to adorable Gunjan and to the I am scared, but I'll still do it Khushi, Sanaya Irani is AMAZING!

Replying in parts ... I tend to ramble on 😆
As for the second part of your post, I think Arnav's character is deeper and more layered than Khushi's, and the layers will peel off only slowly. As to why he's behaving this way with Khushi, I think all your reasons are correct but they will happen turn by turn ... as in, right now he's just doing this to prove a point, to prove his own claim, that nobody defeats ASR ... he's hopping mad that a chit of a girl, a nobody according to him, could even dare to look him in the face let alone challenge him and everything he believes in ...

then will come the time when his feelings are more involved, he sees in her the kind of person he once was, who believed in the goodness of the world, who believed that good over evil and all that, and for him all that didn't work ... so he wants to prove to her that he's right, he was right to kill that old Arnav who was like Khushi once upon a time ... and that she should stop believing in all that aslo, because she will only get hurt in her turn, the way he did ... a kind of protective instinct, that I will make her see the real world, but I will be the one to do it, so that nobody else gets a chance to really hurt her ... something like the way he already doesn't let La attack her ...

and then finally when he actually falls for her ... hmm, I really wonder how he will behave then ... now that one I'm waiting for ... esp if he's fighting his feelings at the time ...

And oh yes, Sanaya is brilliant ... I loved her as Gunjan, had never seen her before, and the way she played that very stereotyped cliched character and lifted her way beyond the ordinary was just amazing! Especially as she is completely different from both Gunjan and Khushi ... she impresses me more and more every day.

No energy to write. I just say I agree with you Diya, and Jens.
She's deffo mellowed down, and this is just the first day itself. Suddenly from that cocooned, protected world, she's been thrown in front of the cruel, ruthless world, in between total strangers who do nothing but laugh at her.
And to add to it, there's Arnav, who's doing everything to make her life hell. Poor Khushi, she just wants to work, regain the lost respect, but this one man has made it a mission to make her fail at any cost.

Ishu, I agree! It's going to be really tough for Khushi ... let's see how she manages. As long as we don't get the clowning back, and we see Khushi the way she was today, determined, facing everything and using her brains, it should be worth watching!
