I don't think its the "Kids" who are fame hungry. A 5 yr old who might not even know how to spell "famous" and "reality" is nowadays subjected to be a part of shows which are ironically called "reality" shows. It used to be the innocent "show and tell" in school, where kids were "encouraged" to showcase their skills in areas other than academics. Nowadays, this little act of innocence has been converted to a money making trade where grown-ups cash on the little minds. A 14 yr old Rima should be hanging out with her gang of girls in the cafe beside her school, not shooting hungry in the studio till 5 pm. The blame goes totally to the parents. They are the ones who subject their children to this mental torture. Everybody wants 15 minutes to fame, but nobody thinks what the child has to deal with to fetch it for them. They are the ones who teach the child the meaning of "being famous" but they do not care that the meaning of "childhood" is lost in this game of money.
Very well said. Kids when young should be well guided and taught good things. The reasons should be explained too. Parents should first know the answers to questions about God and good behavior too.
